ComplaintsI recently rented a textbook from this company and it was a total nightmare. The book came all beat up and worn, but since it was a rental, I wasn't too fussed about it. I didn't even end up using the book and left it in the box when I returned the rest of my rentals. I double-checked by calling them to make sure they got the package and they assured me I wouldn't be charged. But lo and behold, a month later, I see a charge of over $200 on my account for the book. They claim it was damaged beyond repair, showing me pictures of the spine basically torn off, which definitely wasn't how I sent it back. When I tried to argue my case, they just brushed me off and said they could do whatever they wanted without needing any proof from my side.
