Recent book purchase
I just got my latest book order from ThriftBooks and as usual, I'm really happy with their service. I tend to order a lot of books at once and this time was no different. I like that they split up big orders into a few shipments so I can start enjoying my new books sooner. The shipping time is pretty reasonable - usually just a week for the first package to arrive. For smaller orders, they send it all in one package, which is handy. I really appreciate how they consistently deliver my orders in pieces every few days. The customer service at ThriftBooks is always top-notch and I definitely plan on continuing to support them.
Mridanga tuning guide book
Eh, in my books, the content of the one I bought was pretty straightforward and easy to follow, making it a decent starter's guide on mridanga. But I think they could've gone a bit further and talked about the different kinds of mridanga and gave some detailed steps on how to tune 'em. As far as I know, it's pretty important to get the Tilak, Balaram, Madhura, and Clay mridanga tuned to just the right notes before you can really start playing 'em well. If I got it wrong, sorry for any mix-ups.
Filling library gaps with affordable books
I just bought some new books to add to my library and I gotta say, it was a pretty smooth experience. The website was easy to use, making it simple for me to find the books I wanted at good prices. I bought a gift card and it got sent to the wrong address. At first, the customer service team wasn't much help but after a few tries, they finally sent me the right card. I was so happy to get the right one in the end.
Quick delivery, accurate book ratings
I just got some books and I'm happy with how everything went down. The delivery didn't take too long, about a week with USPS. I wasn't in a rush or anything, but I'm glad it got here pretty quick. The books were in the same condition as they were listed on the website, which was awesome. All in all, it was a good experience and I'd totally buy from them again.
Vintage book purchase
I really love shopping at this store! I always come across these amazing vintage books that bring me right back to my childhood - from my favorite authors, and they're so affordable too. Their selection is top-notch and the books are in such good shape. I've been spreading the word to all my book-loving friends because this place is just awesome!
Bud MacFarlane Jr. Trilogy books
I got the books in amazing shape and fast. I'm so excited to start reading these exciting stories again. "Pierced by the Sword" and "House of Gold" will be awesome additions to my collection, along with "Conceived Without Sin." Sadly, I misplaced my original copies after lending them out and forgetting who borrowed them!
