Real estate purchase
I just bought a house from this company, and let me tell you, their customer service after the sale is just awful. Whenever you have an issue and complain, all you get is canned emails in response. It's pretty obvious they don't really give a darn about fixing things. I definitely wouldn't suggest getting a house from them.
Bad experience with booking
So, yeah, my family and I stayed at this place before and everything was fine, you know? But when we tried to check in for our flight with this booking company, our names weren't even on the flight! We had to rebook and pay extra, and they didn't even help us out after. It was really not cool, eh?
Stay at a beautiful hotel
My buddy and I just spent some time at this amazing hotel that was surrounded by a bunch of lush palm trees and beautiful flowers. The place had two pools, tennis courts, mini golf, and a playground for the kiddos. Our room was on the 7th floor, which was only a couple floors up from the ground, but it had twin beds and a balcony so it was pretty comfy. The only downside was the bathroom had glass walls and no door, which wasn't ideal for sharing with a friend. We just used the blinds they had, though. The hotel staff were awesome, super helpful and kind the whole time. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we could have asked for a room with a regular bathroom. The food there was great, lots of different options for everyone. Even with the bathroom situation, we had a great time at the hotel.
Stay at historic building, comfy rooms, fantastic breakfast
Just came back from staying at this cool old building in Palmela. The rooms were so cozy, with a big comfy bed and everything was super clean. Breakfast was amazing, but I wasn't too crazy about the dinner options. The people at the front desk were really helpful and nice. The building has an awesome view and is in a great location, but just a heads up, you might have to work those leg muscles with a steep walk up the hill to check out the town.
Refund for unsatisfactory breakfast
Even though I had a good time at the hotel with friendly staff, my experience was soured by the problem of getting a refund for a cancelled breakfast. We were supposed to have a buffet in the morning, but ended up with just a continental breakfast, yet we were still charged the full price. It's been over 2 1/2 months since I requested a refund and I'm still struggling to get my money back. The lack of communication from the customer service team has been really frustrating and disappointing. Even though there were good parts to my stay, this unresolved issue is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
Recent hotel stay
Pestana Royale is in an awesome spot for exploring and going for walks. There's a whole lot of tasty food to choose from to suit everyone's preferences. The rooms could use a bit of a refresh, though the hotel overall is pretty nice. The staff totally stole the show with their amazing and attentive service, making it feel like a top-notch stay. I might just come back again in the future.
Hotel stay in Funchal, Madeira
My stay at a hotel in Funchal, Madeira was amazing. I was there for 9 days and had a lovely time. Even though I've been to Madeira many times since 2012, this was my first time at this hotel. The service from all the staff was fantastic. The hotel's location was perfect, and the room I stayed in was super comfortable with great amenities. The hotel facilities were top-notch and made my stay even better. I definitely suggest this hotel to others.
Hotel experience
My most recent stay at a hotel in London wasn't great at all. The people in charge and the security were seriously lacking, which caused a lot of problems for everyone staying there. The noise at night was just too much, and the outside areas turned into hangout spots for loud and rude groups. It was worrying to see that the security guards were just chilling in a room instead of keeping an eye on the guests. In the end, it was a terrible place to stay and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Stay at a 5-star hotel
I stayed at a 5-star hotel recently and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. The service just wasn't up to par and I even found cockroaches in my room - yikes! The food wasn't great either, with flies buzzing around the dining area. I think there are way better places to stay on the island, even in the 3 or 4-star range, that provide better service and food.
Hotel Stay
I recently stayed at a hotel for 2 weeks and I gotta say, it was a pretty awesome experience. The staff there were so nice and always willing to help out. The location of the hotel was just stunning, with some great views to enjoy. The prices at the bar were fair and the room was really nice, although the bed was a bit too soft for me and it made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep. The food was okay, I really liked the salad choices but some dishes were a little bland. The desserts though, they were on point - so yummy! Breakfast had a wide range of options, although I missed having a classic full English breakfast. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying there and I would go back, just with a firmer mattress next time!
Recent stay at a seaside hotel
My recent stay at the seaside hotel was just amazing! The hotel itself was absolutely gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the gardens and the ocean right from my room. The staff was so attentive, especially the folks working in the restaurant. David and Tatiana were outstanding - they really went the extra mile to make sure my experience was top-notch. Their professionalism, friendliness, and overall great attitude made a huge difference in how much I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone in need of a peaceful and high-end retreat.
Booking cancellation due to COVID
Now listen here, eh! I had this booking at a hotel in London, eh, through one of those third-party websites, you know? But then, wouldn't you know it, I ended up testing positive for COVID, so I had to cancel my reservation, right? So, I reached out to the hotel and the booking website, but they wouldn't budge, eh! They made me pay the full cancellation fee, even during a pandemic, can you imagine? I gotta say, I'm real disappointed with their lack of understanding and compassion. You know what? I've lost faith in their brand now, and I ain't gonna stay at any of their places again in the future. That's how she goes, bud.
Hotel stay feedback
I stayed at this place and it was pretty good overall. The rooms were nice and the pool was awesome. But man, the check-in and check-out times were so strict. Internet was so bad I couldn't even do my video calls for school, ugh. One of my friends had a dirty room and they didn't clean it even after complaining. Not cool.
Stay at a hotel in Madeira
The staff is awesome, the entertainment is great, and there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy. The food is decent, the bedrooms are comfortable, but could probably use a little modern touch.
Total disaster
My hotel stay was a disaster, eh! First, the toilet didn't flush, then a big cockroach appeared and was devoured by ants before they got rid of it. And to top it off, I was locked out of my room cause the key didn't work, and the air conditioner was acting up. Not worth the money at all, but at least the location was great, eh!
Stay at a hotel in Algarve
Stayed at a hotel in Algarve over the Christmas holidays. The folks in the restaurant were awesome, but man, the breakfast never came out hot enough and those fried eggs were always a letdown. On the upside, the housekeeping service was great - such a sweet cleaning lady. But on the downside, the reception staff was not so helpful. They straight up ignored us three times when we asked for help, and the vibes were just not pleasant. Plus, the spot was super out there, not many walking options on those cliff tops.
Unresolved refund issue
Even though my time at the hotel was enjoyable, I've been dealing with a refund problem for almost three months now. I've tried contacting the customer service team many times through emails and calls, but it doesn't seem like there has been any progress in resolving the issue. It's frustrating to keep hearing excuses that shift the blame instead of someone taking responsibility.
Luxurious hotel stay
Our hotel stay was amazing! As soon as we got there, we were welcomed so warmly and felt right at home. Checking in was quick and easy, and our room was even better than we expected - big, stylish, and super clean. The next morning, my family had a tasty breakfast with lots of choices, and the hotel was so peaceful which made our stay so relaxing. We had such a great time at this hotel and would definitely suggest it to anyone wanting a fancy stay in the city.
Fantastic stay at a hotel near Funchal
I recently stayed at a hotel near Funchal and it was amazing. The hotel was super clean, the staff were all really nice and helpful, and there was always a good variety of food and drinks. The location was beautiful and quiet, and the free shuttle bus to Funchal was a nice bonus. Overall, I couldn't find a single thing to complain about during my stay.
My stay at a hotel
My buddy and I had the most amazing time at that hotel. The staff were so friendly and really made us feel important. The location was fantastic and we absolutely loved it. When we were heading out, we inquired about returning and they reassured us it wouldn't be an issue, even though we were only there for a short time before our flight. They greeted us with huge smiles when we returned and we even got to check out the Beach Club! It was awesome and we're already excited to go back again soon!
