Seat pick felt like a gamble
Seat pick felt like a gamble
BookingI hesitated because every step tried to upsell extras and the seat selection said it wasn't guaranteed — I paid to sit with my partner but it still showed "subject to airline". Flight number was tucked away. In the end seats were honoured, so my scepticism eased, though transparency is lacking.

ServiceMid-packing I realized the flight info said one carry-on and one checked bag, which is why I picked it — I was moving a few boxes and couldn't drive because of my bad back. We double-checked before paying. So it was frustrating when that wasn’t honoured; felt like a bait-and-switch. On the plus side the booking site was easy and the agent I reached was polite, and in the end we managed, but still not great.

CommunicationI was scrolling at night, saw a page that looked like SAS, I hesitated but booked — mistake. I already had doubts before paying (felt off) and they kinda stuck. After the sale I realized it wasn’t SAS but Flight Network and when I asked to change something they basically shrugged, hiding behind the airline. Ticket showed up so that part worked, but the lack of help left a bad taste. Probably won't use them again.
Paid flexible, got rigid

Changeswe needed to shift plans to attend an old friend’s wedding in Singapore (their partner is very sick) and the whole thing turned into a headache. Changing dates was quoted at an insane amount (like tens of thousands), cancelling would’ve cost thousands more, and skipping the first leg? Apparently that nukes the whole ticket with zero refund. After bouncing between Flight Network and Singapore Airlines I left more confused than reassured — FN kept pointing fingers, SA said different, and we ended up having to pay way more than expected. I’m actually glad we managed to make it to the wedding in the end, so that’s something, but I’m pretty annoyed at the fine print and the runaround. Wouldn’t pay for that “flexible” upgrade again, lesson learned.
