I wouldn’t pick this ferry company if you have options, though they did get us across eventually so it’s not total disaster. I got stuck in a queue in Spain — booked a 13:30 sailing and ended up waiting from late morning into the night. Lots of people, cars lined up, and pretty much zero info. They kept saying crossings were cancelled because of weather, but two other operators ran several sailings while we didn’t move, so that excuse felt weak. The real problem was the silence: no clear updates, staff weren’t telling us anything useful, the app that promised to keep you informed was quiet, and we were left guessing. After hours someone finally spoke up, arranged a later departure and offered a small partial refund/voucher, which helped calm things down. The crew at boarding were apologetic and worked fast once they opened things up, so the end leg was fine. If you’ve travelled with smaller companies before you know this can happen, and I’ve had worse surprises elsewhere, but the lack of communication here felt amateurish. In short, plan for delays, bring food and patience, and don’t assume the company will keep you posted. It’s a meh experience — frustrating at first, slightly redeemed later, but I won’t be recommending them to friends.
