Finally linked, but not easy

Communication

I almost gave up — paid for the upgrade and couldn’t see US cities, at first the support emails were just back-and-forth and not helpful. Then one rep actually walked me through steps, and when it showed up I felt relieved. Not perfect, but better than past companies.

Low fuss, does the job

Speed

I’ve been using it for streaming and gaming — everything from Netflix to live events loads fine. Setup was stupid-simple, the dashboard isn’t bloated, which is a relief after dealing with other clunky providers. Tried the free plan first and that sold me, honestly.

Small wins, room for growth

Speed

Overall, I'm cautiously pleased — it works and speeds are decent, prices can be fair during sales. A bit patchy sometimes; I wish they'd go RAM-only and add more servers to avoid slow spots. Read a few reviews first, but glad I gave it a try.

Sceptical, but it worked

App & Portal

I saw this on a tech forum and a colleague mentioned it, but I was sceptical — really sceptical at first because of the horror stories. Bought it anyway for work. There were a couple of rough moments with the app, but updates fixed them and support actually replied. Not perfect, but my initial doubts mostly evaporated.

Surprisingly smooth setup

Installation

I downloaded this just before heading out on a week-long cottage trip, half expecting glitches. Signing up was oddly charming and stupidly simple — two clicks and done, no drama. I was a bit sceptical about the free tier, but it handled the "pretend I'm home" trick perfectly. Account details arrived instantly and when I messaged support they answered quickly, which calmed me down. Also, delivery by email was spot on, no waiting. If I need more data later I'll probably upgrade, no fuss.

Simple and reliable

Stability

Overall, this VPN just works and it's stupidly simple to use. I first found it because a buddy at work recommended it years ago, and I've stuck with it ever since. Setup took two clicks — pick a country or hit "Fastest" and you're done. I've mostly left it on Fastest and never had a dropout. Sometimes sites think I'm in a different place when I log into work stuff, which is kind of the point, so no complaints. Glad I tried it; it's been reliable and low-fuss. and affordable.

On-again, off-again tunnel

Stability

blocks the obvious trackers and keeps my work laptop a bit safer on public Wi-Fi. Still, the unpredictability creates a false sense of security — I can’t rely on it completely. I might give them another shot if stability improves, but for now I’m not renewing. Useful, but not dependable, and that makes the choice easier for me.

Bear doesn't work in Russia

Coverage

The Bear app doesn't work in Russia anymore, eh? It's really frustrating! I've been using it for like 3 years on all my gadgets, but now it's useless. Ugh. The speed could definitely use some improvement too, you know?

My recent purchase

Communication

I was pretty happy with my new purchase at first, eh. But then things went downhill fast when I upgraded to fiber optic and got a new router. I ran into some serious connection issues, and I gotta say, I was beyond frustrated, eh. I tried reaching out to customer support multiple times for help, but got absolutely no response, which really got under my skin. This lack of support has left me feeling really disappointed, and I definitely won't be renewing my subscription, eh.

VPN service

Service

This VPN service is great, never had any problems with it. There are definitely worse options out there, but this one does exactly what it says without any issues. I've had a good experience and haven't had any DNS leaks, which is a big relief.

VPN service purchase

Service

I really appreciate the VPN service provider that helped me get around online restrictions and keep my privacy protected. It's great to see them stand up for people dealing with censorship. I love how smooth it is to browse without worrying about my online security. Thanks for the amazing service.

VPN service

Coverage

This VPN service is pretty good, but it's not perfect, you know? I've come across some problems, especially with countries that aren't used as often. Like, for instance, sometimes it says I'm connecting to Romania or Denmark, but really it shows up as being in the USA. But, even with these little bumps in the road, I'd say about 90% of the time it does the job and lets me surf the web safely and privately.

VPN subscription

Contract

I bought a VPN subscription as a customer, and I was pretty disappointed with the service overall. I wanted to use it for iplayer, but turns out the VPN didn't support that at all. It was one of the main reasons I signed up in the first place, so that was a big letdown.

Also, there was no heads up about renewing after 12 months, which is pretty sketchy. A good company should give you a heads up before charging your card again, but that didn't happen here. Felt like they were trying to sneak in an auto-renewal without me knowing, and that didn't sit right with me.

Because of these issues, I won't be renewing my subscription with them in the future.

VPN purchase

Stability

This VPN is just awful, eh? It disconnects whenever it feels like it, can't even get you on basic websites, and keeps needing to be reset. It's a real pain and a total waste of cash, so do yourself a favor and try a different VPN, eh?

VPN Service

App & Portal

Customer service was great, they were really quick to answer all my questions. Setting up and using the VPN service was super easy and it worked really well. But, the app keeps failing to connect, so I'm only able to use the browser extension. They need to fix this problem fast.

VPN software review

App & Portal

I was really bummed out to see all that BLM stuff plastered all over their VPN app and website. It kinda worried me that they would back such a heated group, and it got me thinking about their decision-making skills. So, I started hunting for other VPNs and came across some good ones like ProtonVPN, UFO VPN, and ZPN Connect. In the end, I decided to go with NordVPN because it's known for being reliable and secure. ExpressVPN is also a top choice for speed if that's what you're after.

Usable, effective service for various online activities

Service

I've found the service to be super reliable for all sorts of online stuff like Netflix, Eurovision, and gaming. The website and interface are really user-friendly and easy to use, so it's a breeze to connect and enjoy the service. I would totally recommend it to anyone, especially since they have a free plan for people to test out.

VPN service purchase

Stability

I'm pretty happy with the VPN service overall, it's been giving me good speeds for my needs when I'm going from the UK to the US. But, I've noticed a problem where it keeps disconnecting after about 3 hours, which is super annoying, especially when I'm right in the middle of watching a movie. Despite that issue, the VPN does what I need it to do and works well for my online stuff. I think some of the bad reviews might be more about outside factors rather than how the service actually performs.

VPN purchase

Service

I've been using this super awesome VPN for years, eh! It's so easy to use, like seriously. I don't understand why some people are all like "Oh, bad reviews, blah blah blah." Just choose a country or click "Fastest" and you're all set, bud. I've been on "Fastest" since the beginning and never had an issue, eh! Sometimes when I log in to certain sites, they think I'm someone else, but hey, that's the whole idea of a VPN, right?

Free service subscription with additional 5Gb from TechRadar

Service

I've been using their free service for about a week now, and so far, it's been working really well. I signed up through TechRadar, and they gave me an extra 5Gb, which was a nice surprise. The VPN has been running smoothly on both my Windows PC and iOS devices, no major issues at all. I did notice a bit of a speed drop when using it on my iOS 4G, but that's totally normal with VPNs. Some folks seem to not get that and end up giving low ratings, but I mean, what were they expecting? I did have a bit of trouble getting my Twitter 1Gb bonus, but after reaching out to support on their website, they got it sorted out pretty quickly. All in all, I am happy with how reliable and user-friendly this VPN service is. It hasn't failed on me and just gets the job done.
