Super Bowl flop after cutting the cord

Coverage

30 pm, kids in Bills shirts, chips out, disbelief: that’s how it went when the Super Bowl arrived and the stream failed us. I’d already cut the cable because of the endless price hikes and got a Roku — loved that part, easy setup, felt clever — but I worried about sports coverage. Did my homework and fubo came up as an option with NFL rights, so I signed up, thinking my worries would vanish. Early on it worked okay: I could find some games, switch camera angles, the interface was decent. But the worry didn’t fully go away — sometimes our team wasn’t on. Then Super Bowl Sunday: game not available to stream, plain and simple. That disappointment was the last straw, so I cancelled today. Maybe fine for casual viewers, but if you need consistent access to your team, be cautious, honestly.

Almost had my Premier fix

Coverage

Mid-afternoon, coffee cooling, I signed up since searches said fubo had Premier League and FA Cup — I was skeptical but hopeful. Needed it after a move and bad cable, so I used the free trial. Quickly I noticed only one FA Cup game that day on fubo while others were on NBC/Peacock/USA — channels fubo doesn’t carry in the US. Streaming worked fine, interface is okay, but no EPL rights so I cancelled.
