H&R Block - Reviews and experiences

So I was trying to do my state tax return online, but it ended up being a total disaster because of some updates or something. The website was like nope, you need a tax pro for this. Finally, after three weeks, the tax pro disappeared and now it's turned into a huge nightmare. I mean, come on, how difficult can it be to file a state return? Clearly, this company is incompetent and just trying to squeeze extra money out of me by holding onto my taxes. Ugh, frustrating!

I just used the tax preparation services and I gotta say, I wasn't happy with how it went down. The person doing my taxes, Debbie, didn't give us the right info on how we could pay the government. We agreed to do it a certain way, but Debbie went ahead and sent our banking info to the IRS without telling us. They took money from our account without asking. When I saw the transaction, I called my bank right away. It ain't right to break our trust like that and ignore what we wanted. I suggest being careful if you're thinking about using their services.
