Slow website, security issues
My website was super slow and had security issues, so I decided to switch to a different hosting provider. HostGator seemed like a good deal because it's cheap, but I quickly realized that you get what you pay for. They promise money-back guarantees, but it's all just a big lie. The prices shoot up after the first year, and it's a pain to cancel - they'll keep charging you even after you think you've cancelled.

Using online trouble tickets with other companies can sometimes be a bit of a pain because you end up going back and forth with representatives who don't really get what you're asking for. But, I gotta say, my experience with the customer service team of this company was actually pretty good. Mary H was super clear and helpful in explaining my account info, and she managed to address my question with just one response. I really appreciate how efficient and professional the team at this company was. Thanks a lot!

Video editing software for educational use
I bought this video editing software for school stuff and it's really good for making videos. I like that I can put clips together and edit them. But I had some trouble switching between Storyboard and Editing screen. I also had a hard time deleting parts I didn't want and couldn't find help for that.

Unauthorized plan upgrade, refund issue, long-time customer
I've been a customer for a long time, and I was totally surprised to find out that they hiked up my plan to a more expensive one without even asking me first. When I called customer service about it, one rep said they would give me a refund and switch me back to a cheaper plan if I reduced my disk space. So, I did what they asked and got in touch again, but this time I got a different answer from a whole new group of reps who wouldn't honor what the first person said. Their service was all over the place, and it was really disappointing, especially since I've been loyal to them for over seven years. Luckily, I was able to take things further by starting a dispute with PayPal and decided to write this review to let others know about my bad experience.
