Bright cards, patchy service but still coming back
Bright cards, patchy service but still coming back
CheckoutI first noticed their greeting cards on a colleague’s desk and a friend later nudged me to try a few for birthdays. The prints and paper are exactly what I wanted — nice selection, good feel. Ordering is straightforward most of the time, though every so often the promo codes or checkout options act up and that’s annoying when you’re juggling a quick order. Delivery is usually fine, arrived within the stated window, but one time I asked to cancel because I’d made a mistake and it took a few days to hear back. Their reply felt a bit casual, like “it seems ready to ship” — not ideal phrasing when you’re trying to sort something out. They suggested refusing the parcel, which isn’t practical if you’re expecting multiple packages. Still, the quality keeps me buying and the staff were polite when they did respond, just slower than I’d like. I’d tell a friend to try them, with the caveat to double-check orders and allow a bit of patience for support.
About Whistlefish

Established in 1996, the company has evolved from its humble beginnings at artist Lyn Thompson's kitchen table, where she started creating hand-painted cards in Cornwall. Since then, Whistlefish has expanded its offerings to include a variety of items such as greeting cards, framed art, gifts, and wrapping paper, maintaining a strong commitment to quality and design integrity. Whistlefish products often draw inspiration from the scenic landscapes and rich artistic heritage of Cornwall, reflecting the brand's roots and its founder's initial inspirations. The company operates both through physical retail locations in the UK and an online store, serving customers globally.
