Suit purchase
My experience with buying stuff online from this store and dealing with their customer service was a huge letdown. I tried to order a few times, but each time my credit card got charged even though the orders didn't go through, which messed up my account. When I reached out to customer service about it, they weren't very clear or helpful, and couldn't fix the problem right away. Plus, I found out they don't ship internationally or to freight companies, so it was a big hassle trying to get my order delivered even though I have a local address. It was really annoying trying to contact their customer service, because I had to wait forever before I could talk to someone who could actually help me out.
Bespoke Suit
I recently bought a custom suit from this store for the second time, and I have to say, the service I got was top-notch. The staff took the time to help me without being pushy and answered all my questions patiently. I want to give a shoutout to Riley C. for his amazing help.
Suit and tie
I recently bought a suit and tie from this store, and I have to say, the customer service was amazing. The staff really went out of their way to help me find the right fit and style. It was disappointing to learn they don't offer a military discount, but then they tried to sell me on some warrior program. It was quite the contradiction!
Tuxedo fitting experience
My recent trip to a men's formal wear store in Beaumont, Texas was a total let down. I asked for a different size, but the employee flat out said no, without even caring. When I asked about their policy, I got no answer. What's strange is that the same employee was quick to help other customers, who were a different race. I felt like I was being discriminated against and disrespected. The manager didn't do anything about it and kept giving special treatment to other customers. It seemed like they were trying to stop me from buying a tux just because of my race. The manager even brought up payment stuff, hinting that I had to pay everything upfront, without mentioning this to anyone else. All in all, it was a terrible and unfair situation.
Tuxedo purchase
My recent visit to the store was a major letdown. The service at the Orland Park location was really bad. Not only was the suit too expensive, but the time it took to pick it up was way too long. Also, we had a receipt that clearly said we owed nothing, yet we were asked to pay 3 cents when we got there. The manager was rude and unprofessional when I complained about this. Trying to get a refund for a wedding that was happening that weekend was just unnecessary. All in all, I had a terrible experience with bad service and no respect for customers. I definitely won't be going back there.
Two suits
I just bought two suits from that store and the customer service was really disappointing. When I walked in, I saw four salespeople hanging around, but none of them came over to help me. I felt totally ignored and it made me feel awkward and not wanted. It was obvious that customer service wasn't a priority for them, they didn't make me feel important at all. Even though the suits were nice, the whole experience was ruined by the lack of care and professionalism from the staff.
Black suit for black tie wedding
I needed a black suit for a fancy wedding we were going to on Saturday. The phone call to the store made it sound like it would be a breeze. They said they had the suit I needed in the right size and color and that they would have it ready for us when we got there. But when we did arrive, we ended up waiting for over an hour just to get some help. There were only two staff members working, and they were too busy on their phones to help us out. It was really disappointing and frustrating, so I won't be going back there to shop. I don't recommend it.
Suit for daughter's wedding
I went to this place to get a suit for my daughter's wedding. My son picked it up before the big day, but it didn't fit him at all! He ended up wearing his own black suit pants and jacket with a vest and tie from that store, which also didn't fit properly. He looked ridiculous in the pictures. We had to spend hours trying to fix it and they only gave us a partial refund. I won't be going back there again!
Suit purchase for upcoming wedding
So I went and bought a suit for this wedding I gotta go to at The Men's Wearhouse. At first, I was happy with the suits they had and the quality looked good too. But then I found out there wasn't any rush shipping options and it was hard to get a hold of customer service. I picked rush shipping but my order has been taking forever to process and the delivery date they gave me is way off. And when I tried to get help from customer service, I had to wait forever on the chat and on the phone. Overall, I wasn't too happy with how everything went down with my order and dealing with customer service.
Casual clothes purchase
I recently went to Men's Wearhouse to get some casual clothes like shorts and polo shirts. I had some good experiences when I visited the store in person. But when I tried shopping online, it wasn't as good. I ordered a shirt I really wanted and threw in a T-shirt to get free shipping. The T-shirt came no problem, but the shirt I really wanted never came. Weeks later, I got an email to review the missing shirt. I found out it was actually out of stock, so my order got canceled. I was disappointed I didn't get what I wanted and frustrated with the lack of communication about the canceled order. I wasted a lot of time looking for the delivery and trying to figure out what happened. Overall, shopping online at this store wasn't great, and I'll have to think twice before buying from them again.
Prom rental purchase
I went to the store to rent a suit for my son's prom. Even though I had an appointment, one of the staff members was not very nice and made me sign in and wait. It was a bit confusing, but eventually, a nice man helped fit my son for a suit. We ended up deciding to buy a suit instead of just renting. However, we had some issues with the price. They tried to make us buy a more expensive vest and charged extra for sleeve alterations, which we didn't expect. When my son picked up the suit, we saw that the jacket sleeves were not hemmed properly, so we had to pay for more alterations. The pants also needed alterations, which was frustrating because we had just bought them and got them fitted two weeks ago. Overall, the whole experience made me feel like they were taking advantage of us, and the final cost of the suit ended up being way more than we thought. I don't know much about buying suits, so I was disappointed with the service and pricing at that store.
Tuxedo rental for grandson's senior prom
My experience renting a tuxedo from this place was super disappointing. I had ordered a black tuxedo for my grandson's grad dance, but when it came, it was navy instead of black. When I sent it back, I didn't get the right tuxedo until the day before the dance, so there was no time to make any adjustments if needed. Plus, the shirt that came with the rental was way too big at a 4x size, even though I had ordered a 2x size. And to top it off, the zipper on the pants was messed up and hard to use. Overall, it was not a great experience and I won't be using their services again in the future.
Wedding tuxedo rental
My recent visit to this place was a real letdown. I rented a tuxedo for my daughter's wedding and it was a total mess. The fitting process was a nightmare, with multiple trips needed to fix problems like different lengths on the pant legs and sleeves, a ripped clasp on the pants, and the wrong-sized shirt. The service was super slow due to not enough staff, which caused unnecessary delays. Even the father of the groom had his order lost and had to go back three times to sort it out. The customer service was terrible, as trying to reach corporate was a dead-end - calls went unanswered and texts to customer service got no real response. The whole experience was just awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone needing a tuxedo for a special event.
Jacket
Ew, so I totally bought two jackets by accident online. I called right after to fix it, but they were like "nah bro, nothing we can do". Seriously, how hard is it to change an online order in 15 minutes? Now I gotta wait for the extra jacket to come in and then go back and beg them to fix it. Ugh.
Men's formal shoes
I recently bought a pair of men's dress shoes online from the suit warehouse and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. The shoes I got looked nothing like the ones on the website - they were way too shiny, like something you'd wear to a disco, not a fancy event. When I tried to return them, the customer service team did everything possible to avoid giving me my money back. Even though the shoes weren't right for what I needed and didn't match the website, they just kept pushing a different pair instead of giving me a refund like they should have.
I even sent the shoes back in a padded envelope at my own cost, but they wouldn't listen to me. As a customer, I have rights under Canadian consumer laws and I expected better from a company that says they focus on men's fashion. This whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be shopping with them again.Suit purchase
The Men's Wearhouse used to be a go-to spot for buying a suit with top-notch customer service and a wide range of selection about 10 years ago. But my most recent visit left much to be desired. I waited 15 minutes before anyone even noticed me, and when they didn't have my size in stock, they had to order my pants. They said it would be ready in 5-7 days, but it actually took 3 weeks. And when I came to pick it up, there was only one staff member on duty, who was on the phone with another customer for 20 minutes. It was a far cry from the great experiences I've had in the past.
Custom-fit suit for a wedding
I went to the Men's Wearhouse in Calgary to buy a custom-fit suit for a wedding I have coming up. The store was all tidy and they had a lot of suits to choose from, which was great. But I was kind of let down by the service I got. Even though there were a few employees around, I was left waiting for a long time with no one saying anything to me. Some other customers who got there after me got help before me, which was pretty annoying. I get that they were busy, but just a quick "hey we'll be right with you" would've been nice.
Wedding attire for daughter
I went to the store to find wedding clothes for my daughter and I was really let down by the service. The new employees who took the measurements didn't do a good job, so the suits were all wrong for both the groom and the kids. That's not okay, especially for something as important as a wedding. It's obvious that these young employees need better training to get the measurements right and make sure customers are happy. I've been coming to this store for nearly ten years, but if things don't improve, I might have to shop somewhere else.
Shirt and tie purchase
I gotta say, my time at that store was really good. I went in to find a couple of new shirts and a tie, and a friendly employee helped me right away. Don Watson was really attentive and asked all the right questions to make sure I got exactly what I needed. He even offered to measure me for the perfect fit. Not only did I find the perfect shirt and tie, but Don also told me about some special deals they had going on, which was a nice surprise. Even though he had to help other customers too, he stayed calm and friendly the whole time. Overall, I left the store feeling really happy with my purchases and the service I got.
Wedding suit purchase
My recent experience with Men's Wearhouse was really disappointing. I bought a wedding suit but got sick with Covid and couldn't make it to the event. Even though I tried to explain the situation, the response from the store was not very understanding or empathetic. They made me feel stupid for not telling them earlier, even though I physically couldn't. The staff member I talked to lacked compassion, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. On top of that, I had to pay $200 for a suit I never got to wear. I won't be going back there again, that's for sure.
