Wrong date tickets
Wrong date tickets
Returns & RefundsI was really let down by my experience because I got tickets for the wrong date. When I asked for help, they basically said I had to buy new tickets if I wanted to go on the right date. The customer service was awful, it felt like they were trying to cheat me. It was a frustrating situation that left me feeling upset. But, after I contacted the main office, they finally agreed to give me a full refund. I'm glad they eventually took responsibility for their mistake, but it shouldn't have had to come to that for them to do the right thing.
Atlanta Braves game tickets purchased
Atlanta Braves game tickets purchased
Returns & RefundsSorry, but my encounter with the ticket provider wasn't great. I bought five tickets for an Atlanta Braves game on a Saturday night, but it got rained out and they rescheduled it for the next Monday night. Because of work and school, we couldn't make it to the new game, and SeatGeek wouldn't let us swap our tickets for another Saturday night game. So we ended up losing a lot of money and missed out on seeing the baseball game we were excited to attend.
Overspending on concert tickets
Overspending on concert tickets
Returns & RefundsThe folks at the company were super helpful when I accidentally bought too many tickets thanks to a glitch in the system. I misunderstood the message about the tickets being sold out and ended up buying tickets for 2 concerts instead of just one, so now I had 4 tickets for each show. The staff totally understood and said they'd give me a refund for the extra tickets I got by mistake. I really liked how quickly and smoothly they handled the situation.
Billy Joel/ Sting concert tickets
Billy Joel/ Sting concert tickets
Returns & RefundsI saw Billy Joel and Sting in concert and it was amazing! Getting tickets was really simple, and they came in my email two days before the show, just like promised. But the refund policy isn't great - you only get a credit, and it's a one-time code that expires in a year.
About SeatGeek
SeatGeek is an event ticket marketplace and aggregator that facilitates the buying and selling of tickets for live events, including sports, concerts, and theater shows. Founded in 2009 by Russell D'Souza, Jack Groetzinger, and Eric Waller, the company initially started as a search engine for tickets, helping users find the best prices for events by aggregating and listing tickets from various sources. Over time, SeatGeek expanded its operations to include direct partnerships with leagues, teams, and venues, transitioning into a primary ticketing platform in addition to its secondary market services. The company has also developed and integrated mobile-focused features, such as interactive seating charts and Deal Score technology, which assesses the value of tickets relative to their price. SeatGeek is headquartered in New York City, United States.
