Cautiously surprised
Cautiously surprised
ProductI almost didn't buy it — had doubts about the "free" claim and those install prompts. Used it last week on an old laptop; first run was clunky, but updates and a quick settings tweak cleared most issues. Relieved it works and glad I stuck with it.
Saved myself the upgrade
Saved myself the upgrade
ProductNot worth paying for another upgrade — I fixed it with something free. My older Desktop for Mac wouldn't run Windows 11, thought I'd be stuck buying the new version. I first saw VMware Fusion mentioned on a forum, tried it, runs Windows 11 fine. Told a coworker, relieved but annoyed.
Windows software and Parallel
Windows software and Parallel
ProductIf you're thinking of using this software for gaming, I wouldn't recommend it. I bought Windows and Parallel hoping to play games, but found out that big game companies don't allow virtual machines. I felt like I wasted my money and was really frustrated when I realized this.
Mac and PC support
Mac and PC support
ProductThis is seriously the best way to have Mac and PC stuff on one computer. I can easily have my Windows stuff open right beside my Mac stuff and fix any problems without having to switch between computers!
Parallels software for Mac integration
Parallels software for Mac integration
ProductI just bought the Parallels software to help me integrate my Mac and I gotta say, I'm really impressed. It loads super fast and runs smoothly, which makes it really easy to use. I've been using it for about a year on a subscription, but recently switched to a one-time purchase because it just made more sense financially. I couldn't justify paying yearly when it costs less to run Windows through Parallels. Overall, I definitely recommend this software to anyone wanting to smoothly combine Windows with their Mac.
M1 MacBook Pro with Parallels & Windows 11
M1 MacBook Pro with Parallels & Windows 11
ProductI've been using my M1 MacBook Pro with Parallels & Windows 11, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for me. The performance is top-notch, and I was so blown away that I actually decided to go all in and buy the Pro license for Windows. It runs like a dream, and honestly, it can even outdo some PC machines. I mainly use it for troubleshooting, running PC software, and exploring different systems all in one place. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this product and everything it can do.
Mac software
Mac software
ProductParallels is definitely one of the best software programs out there for Mac users, eh. It lets you effortlessly run Windows applications on your Mac, making it feel like they belong there. The setup is easy peasy, and the customer service is top-notch, ensuring a hassle-free time for us users, you know? On top of all that, the Parallels Toolbox has a bunch of handy tools that make our day-to-day tasks easier, really sealing the deal for us customers looking for efficiency and convenience in our work or personal stuff.
Purchase - Windows 11 Pro with TPM enabled
Purchase - Windows 11 Pro with TPM enabled
ProductWindows 11 Pro with TPM enabled is running really smoothly, no problems at all. I mostly use it for running MS Power BI, which is a must for my job. But I've been finding that gaming on Parallels can be a bit tricky. Minecraft Dungeons works fine, but other modern games lag too much to really enjoy. It would be awesome if there was a Parallels version made just for gaming to fix this problem.
Product key issue
Product key issue
ProductI just bought a product key, thinking it would work on any computer with the same account. Turns out, it didn't and I couldn't use it on another computer. This has never happened to me before, and I feel like the company is trying to make more money off us. It's really disappointing and frustrating, to be honest.
Switched back to Parallels
Switched back to Parallels
ProductI bought Parallels a few years back, then I tried a different option but it didn't jive well with my shiny new Mac Book Pro M1 chip. I figured I'd give Parallels another shot, and I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to get a virtual machine up and running - Linux or Windows, no sweat! I should have just stuck with Parallels from the get-go!
My new super cool toolbox!
My new super cool toolbox!
ProductI absolutely adore using my new toolbox all the time! I am able to hide icons in the taskbar, adjust the size and position of windows effortlessly, and keep an eye on my network stats. It honestly feels like magic for my computer!
Operating system switcher
Operating system switcher
ProductThe operating system switcher from this company has been a game changer for me. It makes it so easy to switch between different operating systems on my computer, allowing me to access all my files without any hassle. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has to work on different platforms.
VM Software for Mac
VM Software for Mac
ProductThe VM software for my Mac lets me make a Windows virtual machine (now on version 11) with no trouble, so I can use software that doesn't work on MacOS. It's really easy to use, and it works smoothly with my Mac system, letting me open programs from the virtual machine right on my Mac. Plus, I can open .exe files and write on NTFS external devices without any hassle. All in all, this software has really boosted my productivity and made my work easier.
M1 Silicon compatibility
M1 Silicon compatibility
ProductParallels is amazing on my M1 Silicon device - it lets me smoothly run Windows apps like they're meant to be there. I can easily use all my old Windows programs without any hiccups, which helps me get my work done faster. Being able to share my Download folder between Mac and Windows is a game-changer, it makes managing files so much simpler. When I think of other virtual machine choices like VMware and Virtual Box, Parallels wins hands down with its performance and user-friendliness. The only downside is that the updates can be a bit expensive, but overall, I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10 for how well it works and how reliable it is.
Productivity solution
Productivity solution
ProductAs someone who isn't very tech-savvy and mostly uses a Macbook for work, I was having trouble sharing documents with my coworkers. Luckily, Parallels saved the day! It lets me work on my Macbook smoothly, share Word documents easily, and switch between Pages and Word without any issues. This has really made a big difference to my work process. I definitely suggest other Macbook users check it out.
