Laptop replacement experience

I recently bought a laptop from an online store and had some issues with backlight bleeding. Newegg.ca agreed to return the laptop at first, but later said they couldn't replace it because they didn't have it in stock. Then they put the same laptop back on their website at a much higher price. I tried reaching out to their customer service, even supervisors, but didn't get a good solution. I was really disappointed and frustrated with how they handled everything. Their replacement policies don't seem clear and might make customers feel like they're being tricked.

$2000 computer purchase

I recently bought a $2000 computer from Newegg.ca and unfortunately, it crapped out after just two months. When I reached out to customer service, they told me I had to deal with the manufacturer directly for any fixes. The manufacturer, who's in another country, wanted me to cough up the cash for shipping to and from their place for the repair. They also suggested I insure the shipment in case anything happened during transit. This whole lack of care and service is super disappointing, especially since I dropped a lot of cash on this computer. I asked for a refund instead, but the manufacturer wasn't willing to budge. This whole ordeal has left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied with both Newegg.ca and the manufacturer. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to other Canadians.

Just bought a new CPU for my Mac and found out it's the wrong one. I contacted their chat support to try and get a refund or exchange, but they were so unhelpful! Now I have to sell it online and end up losing money. I definitely won't be using their site again!

HDMI to mini display port cable

I bought a HDMI to mini display port cable from Newegg not too long ago and it ended up not working properly. When I tried to contact customer service about getting a refund, it was tough because of language issues and they even asked for video proof of the problem which seemed unreasonable. It was really frustrating and disappointing to deal with the lack of understanding and cooperation.

Hey, so I ended up getting this super expensive gaming PC from Newegg's own brand in January 2022. Supposed to be top of the line, worth $4000, but man, it was a disaster. First of all, the RAM that came with it was only 16GB, which is way too low for gaming. Had to upgrade it to 32GB myself, but then I lost my warranty. Not fair, right? And then, the video card they gave me was from GIGABYTE, which isn't exactly top tier. It was glitchy from the beginning and eventually crapped out completely. ABS, the company that made the PC, wouldn't swap it out. And when I reached out to Newegg Canada for help, they were basically useless. They wouldn't replace the parts or the whole PC, even though it was under a one-year warranty. Total rip-off!

High-end headphones purchase

So I decided to treat myself to a fancy pair of headphones from this online store, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. When the package finally showed up, the original box was way too big, and my poor headphones were all squished inside. And to top it off, they were open box items - not cool considering how much I spent. I got in touch with customer service, and they said they would give me a refund once they saw pictures of the damaged package. It's been more than a week now, and still no fix. Every time I call, I'm stuck waiting on hold for over an hour, like they're trying to rip me off. I'm definitely never shopping here again, that's for sure.

I contacted customer support for assistance, but they were not very helpful and didn't solve the issue. They refused to send me the missing keyboard and only offered a small refund. It was a disappointing experience overall.

I recently bought a couple of DIMM SDRAMs from Newegg Canada, thinking everything would go smoothly and I'd get my order on time. But sadly, that's not what happened. The package that was delivered by the shipping company was all messed up, with one of the plastic packages inside broken and half of the stuff missing. I got in touch with Newegg Canada and showed them proof of what I received, but they still haven't given me a refund for the missing items. Their lack of follow-up and not solving the issue has left me feeling let down and annoyed.

Newegg is honestly a mess behind the scenes - so disorganized, frustrating, and broken. If something goes wrong with your order, get ready for a long and tiring process. The lack of control over 3rd party vendors is just ridiculous - it's your word against theirs, and Newegg is trying to be the referee. After jumping through endless hoops and going back and forth for almost a week, I finally managed to get an RMA for something I never even received! The whole thing took forever, from converting the RMA into a refund order to waiting days for official confirmation that a refund was issued. And guess what, the funds didn't even make it back into my account on time - I had to call customer service and deal with more delays and excuses. Seriously, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Newegg Canada like it's the plague.

I recently bought three things from this website, but sadly, two of them were broken when they got here after two weeks. It was a pain to send them back, and when I asked for my money back, they said no and made me pay a fee. They said one of the items wasn't broken, but it definitely was. The people I spoke to at customer service were not very helpful, except when they wanted to charge me quickly.
