the refund took way longer than the promised 14 days and when they finally refunded they took almost half as a “customs clearance fee.” I asked for proper docs and only got an internal note. Pretty annoyed, had to buy a replacement elsewhere.

Standing in my hallway with the boots half on, I realized they were too big and organized a return. The boots themselves are fine — solid build and comfortable — but the return experience spoiled it. I prepaid postage, then got a refund about £32 short because they deducted a customs clearance fee. They ship from the Czech Republic, so deliveries take two to three weeks and returning goods can cost more than you expect. It's buried in their terms, I know still. I've had smoother returns elsewhere, so I bought the same pair from DM with free two-day delivery. Boots OK, process poor.

I needed this for my aching lower back and ordered hoping it would help; it didn’t, so I returned it. They did refund me in the end (so yeah, that’s something and I’m glad for that), but the whole process was painfully slow and their replies were flaky — emails ignored or ages before a response, phone rarely picked up. Worse, I only got £15.18 back when the charge was £42.42. That shortfall is the main issue. Overall I’m relieved I got something back, but it felt sloppy and a bit off, so I’m looking into getting the rest sorted or disputing it.

document everything and double-check the returns fine print before ordering. They could be a lot clearer.
