Bigger than expected, but not all bad

Returns & Refunds

it was on clearance and Hunter wouldn’t take it back, even unopened. The customer rep was sympathetic and admitted the site copy was confusing, but they still wouldn’t make an exception and I ended up out about $300. That bit annoyed me. Their “no hassle returns” banner felt a bit rich when the fine print hid the important size info. In the end I kept it. It actually fits my room and looks good, so I’m slightly pleased — sceptical at first, but pretty happy now.

Split shipment, awkward fix

Returns & Refunds

we won’t do anything for two weeks from the label date, and after those two weeks I have to call back to start a replacement or refund. Wait two weeks, then do more work myself. Weird policy. I did customer service for three decades and we never pushed the fix button onto the customer like that. I told my brother and he laughed — said I should’ve known better than to expect smooth sailing. There’s some small consolation in the one piece that did arrive being okay, but the whole runaround left me cold. I like the product idea, but their delivery and service process needs work.

Handsome fan that mostly delivers — with a few quirks

Product

the design is clean, the blades move air across the room and it doesn’t feel like futzing with a hundred settings every time. Installation was straightforward enough (I’ve done worse with cheaper brands), though I did have to re-tighten a couple of screws after a week — minor stuff. The smart features are handy when they work: the app links up and I can set schedules from my phone, but it’s not flawless. Every now and then the app gets glitchy or drops the connection, which is annoying. Also the finish showed a tiny chip after some handling — not great for the price, but not a dealbreaker for me. Noise level is acceptable most times; occasionally there’s a faint wobble at higher speeds, nothing seismic but you notice it. Customer service was slow to respond at first (had to wait longer than I’d like), yet when I did get through they were polite and offered a replacement part — took some paperwork, though. So yeah, not perfect, but for the look and everyday performance I’d buy it again. If you want flawless smart features, maybe keep looking, but if you want style plus solid airflow, this one’s worth a shot.
