Stayed put at last
Stayed put at last
ProductHalfway through rinsing the car with the brush attachment, I felt that familiar tug — the hose loosening at the connector, and there I go peeling tape off and chopping a bit of hose, same old routine. I was sceptical when I tried this Gardena-style connector; thought it might be just another temporary fix. But the moment I pushed it on and later scrubbed the wheel wells hard, the hose stayed put. The metal compression ring feels solid, and the connector sleeve extends about 3.5 cm up the hose, so there’s really nothing left to wriggle free. I use this hose setup for washing the car, watering the front beds and filling a small kiddie pool, so it gets daily use and some rough handling. Small things still annoy me, but this connector is one of those rare parts that actually does what it promises.
