Finally held it — mixed feelings

Halfway through summer I finally unzipped the box, and I'll admit I felt both relieved and a bit miffed. I was hesitant before ordering — the site looked slick but didn’t say “pre‑order” until after I paid extra for faster shipping, and at first I kept thinking, are they actually going to ship this? Phone support was basically gone and emails felt automated. Still, once the bag arrived the quality kind of shut me up; it's solid, exactly what I wanted and the little details are nice. So my doubts about the product disappeared, my doubts about the service did not. If you can wait and you care more about the item than speed, go for it — otherwise maybe ask more questions first.

Pre-order promise fell flat

Overall, I'm disappointed and cautious about pre-ordering from them. I thought pre-order meant I'd get the items sooner, or at least have clear timing. I ordered two cowboy hats from FOCO on May 20 because I needed them for a family road trip and some photos — I wanted matching hats and I don't like last-minute scrambling. No update came. No personal reply. When I reached out their automated reply said only that the pre-order won't ship until August 22. That was a surprise. I even saw an ad promising quick ordering and delivery right before I bought. So what exactly is the point of pre-ordering if you get that kind of lead time and zero customer contact? I've bought from FOCO a lot and usually like their stuff. The hats probably would be great. But this presale handling and the robot answers made me lose trust. Not thrilled. I'll think twice next time.

I recently made a purchase for a preorder item, and I gotta say, the team's communication was top-notch. They quickly responded to every email I sent, keeping me informed that my item was on preorder. George said he'd check into it and follow up, which was really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast they got back to me, and I'm super thankful for their great customer service. I'd definitely buy from them again.
