Zappers that work, company doesn't

Returns & Refunds

they shipped the wrong items, customer service told me to return them at my own cost, the parcels came back “undeliverable” after weeks, and every follow-up just recycled the same return address while promising a refund. Also gave one to a neighbour who couldn't stop bragging. Product: yes. Company: a mess.

When it finally worked

Communication

I filed the claim in late February, it was approved within a week, and then... radio silence for months. I kept seeing posts from others who claimed later and got theirs quicker, and yes, influencers seemed to jump the queue. That left a sour taste, and I worried about safety, about whether the replacement would even show up. So that moment — when it heated evenly and didn't smell weird — is when I knew I was satisfied. It’s not perfect: communication could’ve been clearer, timelines more honest, and delivery much faster. But I’m also glad they did the recall and took responsibility; the unit works for our breakfasts and quick dinners and actually makes life easier some nights. I appreciate that, even if my trust is dented. We’ll think twice before buying from them again, but at least this replacement did its job.

Broken glass, mixed feelings

Product

I wouldn’t buy this again. It actually cooked really well at first — air fry and rotisserie did a nice job, surprising me — but after about three months of light, every-other-day use the glass on the door suddenly shattered while preheating and scattered all over the counter and floor. I never put anything on the door, like the sticker warned, so that was unnerving. I tried calling customer service a bunch of times, got told my model isn’t on any recall list, and then they pointed me to email-only support. I’ve emailed repeatedly for two months with no reply. It’s frustrating and feels unsafe. If you’re looking at this, maybe check recalls and be careful; and I really hope they step up on the service side. Small heads-up: it cooks great until it doesn’t.

Almost gave up, glad I didn't

Service

I almost wrote this off — the toaster oven was glitchy, the on/off switch unreliable and it didn't heat right. I use it every morning for toast and for quick dinners, so I was worried. They asked for a pic of the back with the cord cut, weird but I sent it. In five days a replacement was on my counter; I tried fries and a grilled cheese and it worked perfectly. Shayla dealt with it smoothly, and now I'm happy.

Small surprise, big crunch

Returns & Refunds

I was halfway through a quick lunch the first time I used this air fryer — fries went in, ten minutes later they were actually crispy like a little miracle. The basket feels solid, the handle has some weight to it and the controls are straightforward, not one of those fiddly touch panels. I started using it on a weekend and my first impression was “oh, this is nicely built” — compact enough for my counter but big enough for two people. A week later I got an email about a recall, which was annoying, and they asked me to cut the power cord and send a photo as part of getting a replacement. That part felt a little weird and the wait estimate was, uhm, long — they said 8+ weeks. Calling support didn’t clear much up, I kept getting “wait for tracking” over and over. Still, I can’t deny how well it cooks and how easy cleanup is, and that surprised me in a good way. If they tighten up the follow-up and shipping it's a solid little appliance.

Rough ride with the recall process

Returns & Refunds

uploaded clear photos of front, back and the bottom with the batch number — the number was easy to read. A few days later I get a boilerplate reply saying my batch number is wrong. I resubmitted the same photos. Then another email asking for a “handwritten” batch number — which makes no sense because there isn’t one. Sent the photo again and now I get a message that they’ll “reject your request later, then you can upload the correct photos” — that reads like a typo or someone copying a template. Calling the 800 number from the email just disconnects on me. So, decent product performance, but the recall handling and customer service are frustrating and confusing. No replacement delivered yet, and getting a straight answer is the problem.

Quiet gadgets, loud compliments

Product

I'm happy — even with the occasional hiccup. I’ll say it up front because that’s how I talk: these things look great on the counter and they mostly just work. I started with an old Cosori air fryer years ago, upgraded later, and now I’m at the point where I’ve got an air fryer, two kettles (one glass, one bright orange because why not), and a lovely glass coffee carafe with a wooden collar that makes me feel a bit fancy in the mornings. People actually stop and ask me where I got the orange kettle. That never gets old.
That said, they’re not perfect. There have been small problems — bits that didn’t behave, a recall I read about (and yeah, recalls are a pain; they happen to loads of brands) — but when something did go sideways for me, customer support wasn’t a circus. They were polite, actually helpful, and surprisingly quick. So, the whole-company-is-awful arguments? I don’t buy them based on my experience.
Design is the real standout here: simple, thoughtful, elevated without trying too hard. The air fryer runs quietly — like a low hum rather than the rasping fan of older models — which I appreciate because I’m often making breakfast while half-asleep. I use Cosori stuff every day, from coffee to dinner, and I find myself recommending it to friends (with warnings: read the manual, and keep your receipts). If you’re on the fence, my advice is: pick the piece that fits your day-to-day needs rather than chasing every new gadget. Expect good design, mostly reliable performance, and decent support if you need it. Mildly emotional aside: I kind of love the kettle. There, I said it.
