Nice products, frustrating customer service experience
I recently bought some stuff from this store and even though the products were good, I had a really annoying time trying to reach customer service. It felt like nobody was ever around to pick up the phone and it took them three whole business days to even reply to my email. That kind of service is just not acceptable and it makes me wonder if they really give a darn about their customers. So now, I try to steer clear of shopping there as much as I can and look for places that treat their customers better.
Corduroy shorts and a shirt
I recently ordered a few things from this store. The corduroy shorts I got were really nice - super comfy and good quality. However, I wasn't a fan of the shirt I ordered, so I decided to return it. Dealing with customer service was a total disaster though. They're saying they never got my return, which means I'm out of luck. If you're feeling brave, give it a shot. Just don't count on them for backup.
Recent clothing purchase
I just wanted to share my recent experience as a new customer, and honestly, I'm feeling pretty let down. I ordered some clothes on December 13th, expecting to get them in time for Christmas because the delivery time was supposed to be 6 - 7 days. It's now December 20th, and my order hasn't even left the warehouse yet. Talk about frustrating! On top of that, the customer service phone line is only open from 1pm to 4pm EST, Monday to Friday, which just made things even worse. They do have a live chat option with longer hours, but sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not, so it's hard to get help right away. This lack of consistent communication has really changed my opinion of this company. I thought they were reputable based on what I had read, but now I'm starting to think it was all just paid advertising and not a true reflection of their customer service.
PHAT pant sizes
I didn't have to deal with any customer service people because everything was awesome and fit perfectly. My husband and son have unique sizes that are difficult to find in regular stores, but Bonobos has them covered with their great size options. My husband is tall and slim, and my son is shorter. They both need clothes that fit just right and Bonobos delivers. We stumbled upon a pair at a thrift store once and now we're obsessed. It saves us from having to pay for alterations, which is a hassle. The quality is really good and we always look stylish when we wear their clothes. We've made several purchases from them and I'm sure we'll continue to come back for more.
Polo shirts bundle
I recently had a frustrating experience with a company that says they offer discounts but didn't follow through. I wanted to buy a bunch of polo shirts from them and I was happy to get a 20% discount on my first purchase. But, when I put in the discount code at checkout, the discount didn't apply. When I talked to customer service about it, they said the discount code doesn't work for bundles because the bundle price is already discounted. I thought that was misleading and not cool.<br><br>Plus, the company's website has a whole section just for bundles, and those prices are already discounted in the shopping cart without needing a code. That made me doubt if the discount offer was legit from the start. It felt like they were tricking people with the promise of a discount they weren't really giving. I felt tricked and let down by the whole thing.<br><br>Overall, the customer service wasn't helpful and their pricing strategy seems sketchy. Based on my bad experience, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Clothing order
I just ordered some clothes online and can you believe it, my personal info got leaked on the dark web! This happened back in January 2021 and it's totally not cool. They clearly don't care about keeping their customers' info safe and private. So disappointed and frustrated with this company. It's ridiculous how they care more about money than protecting our personal information. I'd definitely warn others to think twice before buying from them.
Unhappy customer experience
I gotta say, my experience with this company has been really disappointing. The products are okay, but the customer service is seriously lacking. It's been almost impossible to get ahold of anyone for help through text, phone or email. I even got my credit card company involved and still no response from this company. I really don't recommend ordering from them, it's just been frustrating and disappointing overall.
Accurate size chart, weird coupon use, average customer service, decent shipping speed, good selection in the Big & Tall section
As someone who's on the larger side, let me tell you, finding clothes that fit properly can be a real pain. But hey, I gotta give credit where it's due - the size chart at this place is bang on. It's a relief to finally know what size to order without having to deal with the hassle of returning stuff that doesn't fit. However, I did run into some issues with their coupon system. It can be a bit wonky and doesn't always work right. The customer service experience has taken a hit ever since they got sucked up by a big-box retailer, which is a bummer. It feels like they've lost that personal touch and attention to detail in the process. On the bright side, their shipping speed is actually pretty impressive. I've gotten my orders quickly, which is a nice surprise compared to other online stores. And let's not forget about the Big & Tall section - they've got a decent selection of clothes there, which is a nice change from the limited options I usually see. Overall, I'd say give this place a shot, but maybe not with overwhelming enthusiasm.
Extended sizes purchase
The selection of larger sizes at this store is not great. I usually wear a medium, but I have to buy XL or 2X to find my size. It's frustrating that there are not many true XL-2X options. And on top of that, the company is owned by a big corporation that they don't openly talk about. When I heard about how employees were mistreated by a former worker, I can't support this brand anymore. This person, who had really good sales numbers, was not promoted because of his "personality," which was just an excuse for racist behavior. It's terrible to think about how someone so talented was discriminated against because of their race. I won't spend my money at a place that supports this kind of discrimination.

As someone who's been comin' here for a while now, I was pretty disappointed by the way they brushed off my questions and didn't take my concerns seriously. It feels like the staff just think they're always right 'cause they've been around for so long, but that ain't the truth. Good customer service means listenin' to the customer, dealin' with their problems, and makin' 'em feel heard and respected. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here.
Best off-the-rack sizing

The trimmer cut and perfect inseams make me feel like these clothes were tailor-made just for me. And the quality? Top-notch. I've really put these pants to the test, and they still look just as good as the day I bought them. The cotton sweaters are another favorite of mine - they have a more upscale feel and a trim cut that really sets them apart from the usual boxy designs out there. This shop has definitely become one of my go-to spots for men's clothing, eh.
