Fresh serums
I just got some new serums from Beauty Counter, and I usually really like their stuff. But one of the serums I got was totally gross - it was all old, stinky, and super thick, so there was no way I could use it. Even though I just bought it, I had to toss it because it was such poor quality.
Product return process
I had a pretty crummy experience with this company's return policy not long ago. I bought something and it ended up not being what I wanted, so I got in touch with their customer service right away to start the return. But then they told me I had to wait for the product to actually show up at my place before I could even start the return process, even though they hadn't processed my order yet. That just seemed silly and made things more of a hassle than they needed to be.
Skincare products
I just bought some skincare stuff from Beauty Counter, and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with it. The packaging looked real fancy, and the products actually did wonders for my skin. There was this serum that made my skin feel super hydrated and fresh. Yeah, it was a bit pricey, but it was totally worth it for the results. Overall, I was really pleased with my purchase.
Foundation and moisturizer
I made the switch to Beauty Counter foundation and moisturizer, and honestly, my skin has been looking so much better. The products are top-notch, and totally worth the splurge. They may be a bit pricier than your average drugstore finds, but they definitely rival those fancy brands like Mac. I'm thrilled with how my skin has improved since I started using them.
Fantastic products for both me and my partner
I just bought some stuff from this website and I gotta say, I am super happy with what I got. The products are really top quality and my skin has been loving them. The prices are fair for how good the stuff is, and I like how they're upfront about what's in their products. The customer service was also on point - the staff really knew their stuff and helped me out with my order. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this brand to anyone in need of some top-notch skincare products.
skincare products, mascara, Vitamin C serum, hydrating lotion
I went all out and bought a bunch of stuff from Beauty Counter, like skincare stuff, mascara, Vitamin C serum, and hydrating lotion. The serum and lotion were great for me, but the mascara was a letdown. It said it was waterproof, but it totally wasn't. And some of the other skincare stuff made me break out, so I pretty much regret buying them. It just goes to show that what works for one person might not work for someone else, 'cause everyone's skin is unique, eh.
Oil-free face lotion from the CounterMan line
As a guy, I gotta say I really like the oil-free face lotion from CounterMan. It's a great product compared to a lot of other men's skincare stuff out there. This lotion has a nice, mild smell, not that strong manly scent you usually get. And it's not greasy at all, but leaves my face feeling all refreshed and moisturized. I definitely trust this brand for good skincare stuff.
Membership Cancellation
Even though the products are pretty good, they cost more than what you'd usually find out there. But let me tell you, my interactions with the support team were just awful. They ended up cancelling my membership because they thought there was some shady stuff going on, and I've been trying to explain myself to the fraud department without any luck. I had to keep bugging them with multiple support requests just to be told I could still buy things, just without the perks of my membership. Talk about disrespectful and unprofessional! And on top of all that, they won't even give you a refund if something you bought goes on sale right after.
Vitamin C orders
I just ordered one bottle of Vitamin C supplements, but got three deliveries instead. I called customer service twice to stop the monthly order, but kept getting billed and shipments even after cancelling. Then, I moved and they still sent one to my old address. It was so annoying and I was not happy with their service at all. The reps couldn't help and I ended up paying for something I didn't even ask for.
Beauty Counter regimen pink line purchase
I got the Beauty Counter pink line skincare set for traveling back in July 2020, but with all the pandemic restrictions I ended up not being able to go anywhere. So, the set just sat on my bathroom shelf right in front of my eyes. I noticed that the eye cream, which comes with a dropper, was basically still full even though I hadn't touched it in 6 months. Turns out, the product was evaporating because of some problem with the bottle design. That was a letdown, considering I didn't even get to use it as planned all this time.
Dry and oily skin solution
I've been dealing with dry and oily skin issues for years because of the chemicals in my makeup. But ever since I switched to using BeautyCounter products, my skin has improved a lot. Not only do their products work great for me, but they also don't make my skin itchy or dry. I'm really impressed with their makeup line. The only thing I wish is that they sold their eye shadows individually instead of just in palettes. I don't want to fork out more money for a full palette when I only want a few shades. However, I do think their foundation, concealer, and setting powder are reasonably priced. The setting powder lasts a long time and I think it'll last me at least 5 years if I don't accidentally spill it. Overall, I'm super happy with the quality of BeautyCounter's products.
My recent beauty haul
So, I recently treated myself to a bunch of new makeup and skincare stuff, and let me tell you, I am absolutely obsessed. The quality is amazing, and I love that these products are all clean and free from nasty stuff. It's like using a fancy high-end brand without all the sketchy ingredients. One thing I do wish is that they start making some limited edition holiday sets like some other luxury brands do. It would be so nice to have some festive options to pick from during the holiday season. Plus, I really respect their commitment to pushing for green beauty in the government. It feels good to support a brand that's working towards positive changes in the industry.
Band of Beauty Member products
I recently bought a bunch of stuff from the beauty section because I'm a Band of Beauty member. My overall take is that it's a bit hit and miss. I do like that they tell you what goes into their products, but I found that the quality wasn't always there. The Daily Clarifying Shampoo & Conditioner, Charcoal body bar, Flawless in Five combo, and Kids cleansing wash worked really well and did what I was hoping for. But on the flip side, I wasn't too impressed with the adaptive moisturizer, hydrating body lotion in citrus mimosa, facial oils #2 (Jasmine) & #3 (Ylang Ylang), Moisturizing Shampoo, and Conditioner. They just didn't do it for me.
