Scam. TLDR; Ad on Instagram. "Free" 4-week trial. Asked for credit card/Paypal info which I thought was common, so fine I gave it. It was my biggest REGRET. I'll try to keep it short.
1. Long and Difficult process to CANCEL Subscription
I usually cancel any subscription after I get my free trials in case I forgot later on. This website makes it hard. They had you go through many promotions (lifetime membership etc) then finally you have to make a call within their working hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
2. ONE-CLICK PAYMENT on their Promotions
There were a lot of promotions whenever you switch between pages. One offered a "toolkit" for the course I was taking. There were not many details so I figured clicking purchase would let me see what exactly it means. Then the ad was gone. I was terrified and checked my bank account. 50 bucks gone. No verification. No safety code.
I tried to ask for a REFUND but apparently they "make it clear that these services will be charged and upon your confirmation, the registered payment will be deducted." I do admit to making mistakes. And I hope you came across this and don't be as dumb as me.
3. Saved CREDIT card information and name to their data bank
I did my cancellation call and the automated bot called me using the name I registered, though I changed it after it seemed fraudulent. Had NO options to cancel CREDIT DETAILS. Had to send an email to request. They did, but I won't be surprise if they sold it out or anything. Not just credit cards, Phones numbers, name. I'm sure it's a well organized data bank.
4. Spam CALLS
It was crazy. I woke up with 6 missed call from Alberta, 4 from the States and 1 from Dublin. It was horrifying.
5. Terrible TEACHING VIDEOS
I enrolled in the physiology course. Yes, it's beginner, starts off easy, but the voiceover was automatic and terrible. They had "live" lessons but they are pre-recorded. I accessed the "recording" later on hoping I could skip around. Could not choose speeds or go back and forth. Not worth anything.
And that's about it. I cancelled my subscription now so wish me luck in the coming days from spam calls or anything fishy.
