Empty bag on the counter, again
Empty bag on the counter, again
ServiceI was staring at the empty bag on the counter and thinking about how weird it is to be annoyed by coffee, but here we are. My wife is an Army vet and for years that was the main reason we stuck with this brand — wanted to support veteran-run places and it felt right. I had real doubts early on, mostly about whether a growing company could keep the same service, and those doubts crept in slowly. At first the coffee arrived reliably and it was decent. Over time the service slipped and my skepticism turned into frustration.
Late deliveries, eventually sorted

chatbot gave stock answers, calls dropped more than once, and emails went unanswered. Local stores were polite but couldn’t fix the account issues. After a few persistent follow-ups I finally got a human response; they investigated, refunded the missing items and sent a replacement shipment. It took too long, and I won’t pretend the process was smooth, but I’m relieved they made it right. I’ve kept the subscription for now, though I’ll watch future deliveries more closely.
Small hiccups, still a solid cup

I ordered two extra bags outside my sub and they didn’t show up, had to message on Facebook before anyone looked. A social-media rep forwarded it, and after a few weeks the missing bags finally arrived. Then the next sub shipment came as whole beans instead of ground — a bit annoying. The coffee tastes great though, and I want to support them. Customer service could be clearer about delays, but once they replied things moved. Still happy overall.

Delivery30 after a night shift — knees sore, back tight, relying on a steady pod or two to get me moving. That’s why I signed up for the club: convenience, steady supply, no thinking. For a couple of years it worked fine. Then the last shipment arrived missing two bags. Small thing, you’d think, but it broke the morning routine and that annoyed me more than it should. I called. The line said “high volume” and then went quiet. I opened a ticket through the site and got a number, but no follow-up. The site blamed a warehouse move that’s apparently been “ongoing,” which felt like a shrug when I was standing there with an empty pack. I admit I was skeptical — companies change, sure — and I braced for the usual runaround. After I pushed a bit harder I finally got a refund for the missing bags and a small credit toward the next order. No big apologies, but at least the chargeback didn’t turn into a fight. Taste-wise the coffee hasn’t lost a step; it’s still what I buy it for. So my feelings ended up split: pleased with the product, annoyed with how the issue was handled. If you need dependable deliveries because of early shifts or chronic aches that make mornings rough, be cautious about relying on automatic shipments right now. They could sort the customer side out with clearer updates. Until then I’ll keep buying because the coffee helps, but I won’t be as trusting as before.
Liked the beans, not the follow-through

I actually liked the coffee itself — strong, good roast — which is why I'm a bit torn. I ordered late December and when they said the warehouse was moving I asked to cancel on Jan 9. Tried the chat a few times (the bot opened tickets but you can't get a real person), emailed Jan 12 and opened another ticket, and then... silence. They charged my card and on Jan 20 the order showed shipped, even though I'd already ordered elsewhere. The box arrived missing the 22-count Spirit of '76 — annoying, and I had to file a claim with my credit card. On the bright side, the stuff that did arrive smells great and tastes solid, so the product itself is good. Service and communication need work, big time. My tip: if you plan to buy, be ready to follow up and maybe dispute charges if you cancel. I really hope they make it easier to reach someone and improve cancellation tracking — fix that and this would be an easy recommendation. As it stands, decent coffee, patchy process.

double-check confirmations and be ready to push for a fix. I hope they sort their customer side out — the product works, the service doesn’t.
