this is sloppy. Contacted support and they offered a coupon for the cost of replacement batteries, but only to use on a new order (plus VAT and shipping), which felt a bit like kicking the can. I do appreciate that they replied and tried to compensate, and to be fair their agent was polite, so my annoyance softened. Still, they should list battery requirements clearly and not blame T&S. I’ve had better and worse with other sellers, but this was okay in the end.

I remember unboxing it on a slow Sunday and thinking “nice, sleek,” then setting it up right away — setup was easy, no drama. What stuck with me though was the promised Matter support; that was the reason I bought it over a year ago. For months I pinged support and got the same vague “it’s coming” line, which was annoying, sure. Then, weirdly, one evening after an update my phone showed the device in Matter and I just sat there, coffee cooling, and felt oddly relieved — that tiny click when the lights responded the way I expected. Not a fireworks thing, just a quiet, grateful yes. I’ll admit I grumbled about marketing and the Gen 4 announcement (felt like being ghosted), but once Matter worked the annoyance faded — mostly. Support could've been clearer; returns policy felt rigid when I asked earlier. Still, the product does what I needed eventually, and I'm glad it didn’t turn into a permanent headache. So, happy enough that I’d recommend it if you’re okay with a bit of a wait and follow-up.
