Faulty first unit, ok now

ServiceUnit didn't behave from the start. I was told to run some tests. The system still wouldn't respond, so they sent a replacement promptly. New unit works as expected. Installed same day. Setup quick. Sits solid in the rack. Not flawless — initial unit was dead — but overall it's fine, better than past vendors.

CommunicationI needed the EcoFlow for daily stuff — charging tools and keeping the mini-fridge running during the odd outage — so I was frustrated when it sat in their warehouse forever and then seemed to disappear in transit. Took over two months before Amazon stepped in and refunded me; EcoFlow tried to send it themselves which muddied things. Glad the money came back, but clearer updates would’ve helped.
Not what I hoped for, but it ended up okay

Service
I was on site when the unit popped — proper scary moment, some smoke, and then nothing. I needed that power pack for work (I do site installs and can’t risk downtime), so I was instantly stressed. First impressions were rough. Email replies were slow, like a day or more between messages, and the live chat helped explain things but didn’t actually fix anything. So there was a lot of back-and-forth. They wanted to charge depreciation on a ten-month-old unit and that felt off to me — over five hundred pounds to get a replacement is not small. I let it go at the time because I just wanted a working unit back on my truck. Packing for return was another headache. They sent a flat cardboard box with no real inserts or tape or handles, and I remember thinking, “Are you kidding me?” A 25 kg battery rattling in a box like that is not great.
But then, and this is the bit that made me breathe easier, one agent took ownership. They sorted a courier, confirmed delivery windows, and actually followed up. The replacement arrived sooner than I’d expected and it powered up right away. That moment — when I plugged it in at the job and it hummed to life — I relaxed. I wasn’t thrilled about the charge, or the earlier lack of care, but seeing it work made the whole mess feel worth it. So yeah, clunky process and some poor decisions on returns and pricing, but in the end the product did its job and a person on the support side finally made the difference. Would I rush back to buy again? Probably not straight away, but the replacement worked and that’s what I needed most.

App & Portaldiscounts looked good but felt almost too neat, and I’d read a couple of iffy reviews from another company that left me cautious. Turns out most of those worries melted away. Ordering was frictionless, discounts applied cleanly, and the delivery arrived when they said it would. The packages were hefty but well packed, no drama. The microinverter and the two panels look and feel robust, all the leads and extensions were included, which made setup easier than I feared. We haven’t had much sun yet so full output isn’t proven, but the smart meter plus the EcoFlow app make it easy to follow usage — the app is straightforward and ties everything together. Overall went from doubtful to quietly pleased.

Billingthe rep who admitted the mistake was actually apologetic and prompt once they owned it, and refunded it right away.
