Communicationemail the renewal invoices to customers instead of hiding them in a portal. I don't want to dig up passwords I haven't used since last year. It felt like the IT group treated customers as an afterthought, which annoyed me. Eventually I did get the invoices and that helped, though they weren't very clear. A simple PDF by email would save time — that's my advice.
