TransportThought I might get stuck with delays or packed cars — I was a bit sceptical because a friend recommended it and I first saw it on a travel blog. After six weeks on Trenitalia the doubts faded. Trains were mostly punctual, clean and straightforward to book. Staff polite, nothing flashy but solid overall.

Changesour assigned seats had been changed and the conductor handed us new numbers, so we shuffled and missed the snack and drink that came with first class. Kind of awkward, but not the end of the world. Calling customer service meant a wait for a callback, maybe ten minutes, but the rep was helpful and apologetic. Tip: make a Trenitalia account and double-check seat info. Overall I enjoyed the ride.
