So, I was looking for a sick hotel room for my next trip, eh, and I found this amazing website that compares prices from different sites, eh. But, get this? The prices were way off, like, totally off. I thought I was snagging this swanky deluxe room for 18 pounds, but when I clicked the link, it was actually 30 pounds, eh! And it's not just a fluke, it keeps on happening. Not cool, eh.

I’ve been using this website quite a bit, eh? Lately though, I’ve noticed that the rates they show aren’t always accurate. Sometimes the rate they show as the best one ends up being higher than what they actually said. Also, other sites tack on extra charges like taxes, which means the final price ends up being way more than I expected. It’s kind of disappointing to see the accuracy of this search engine go downhill like this, you know? It used to be pretty reliable.

I recently booked a hotel through HotelsCombined, and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. I made sure to double check the price they quoted me, making sure it covered all taxes and was in the right currency. But when I saw my credit card statement, turns out they double charged me for taxes and added an extra conversion fee, which ended up costing me more than I thought. The hotel I booked was Orchard Parade in Singapore, and to top it off, the booking was non-refundable. This whole ordeal made me feel like I got taken advantage of, and I just want to warn others about my experience before they book with HotelsCombined.
