TaskRabbit - Reviews and experiences

I found TaskRabbit really handy when I needed a handyman. It was my first time using it to hire someone on short notice, but I couldn't get same-day service. The person I hired wasn't as ready as I hoped and showed up way later than expected. He was nice, but his tardiness and lack of preparedness let me down. I might give TaskRabbit another go down the line, but I'd probably choose a different person next time.

I was so happy with the service I got to put together my dresser on Memorial Day. The person came on time and did a great job, finishing in only 2 hours. The dresser looks amazing and I'm really happy with it. I'll definitely be using this service again next time.

Booking a Tasker was actually pretty easy and quick. I found a Tasker who was professional and got the job done on time. TaskRabbit lets you choose a Tasker that fits your budget and has the skills you need. But I was kinda bummed that the promo code only applied to the Tasker's hourly rate and not the service fee from TaskRabbit. It would be nice to know that upfront next time.

I had to put together some furniture and needed a new part. Mark figured out what I needed right away, found it online, and put it in quickly. It only took about an hour and Mark's quick and efficient work really impressed me.

He put together five pieces of furniture, showed up right on time, worked really well, and even cleaned up once he was done. He even noticed a few little problems with two pieces and made sure to let me know. His attention to detail and professionalism really impressed me. I would totally suggest him to anyone who needs help with furniture assembly.

Kristina finished the job super fast and did it really well, but then the smoke detector that she swapped the battery for started beeping not long after she took off. I had to call someone else to come by and fix it, which was a bit of a hassle.

Luis R was such a gem to bring on board for putting together my furniture and taking care of my carpentry jobs. He knew his stuff, got the job done well, and didn't waste any time doing it. It was a top-notch experience all around. He showed up when he said he would and was so nice to chat with the whole time. I'd definitely give him two thumbs up for anyone looking for help with furniture assembly, hanging things up, carpentry work, or anything like that.

The Tasker, John, showed up on time and was really friendly and knew his stuff. But I took off a star since one of the chairs wasn't screwed in properly and was left like that. The table wasn't perfectly aligned, but it's not a big deal. I think a final check would have made everything just right.
