I recently tried out TaskRabbit for some help and I gotta say, it was a pretty good experience overall. Setting up the scheduling was super easy and convenient, making it simple for me to pick a time that worked for me. The payment process was also really smooth, which was great. One thing I really liked was that TaskRabbit checks backgrounds of their workers, so I felt safe and secure. Chatting with the Tasker through the app was quick and easy, making it simple to tell them what I needed. All in all, I thought the whole thing went really smoothly and without any stress.
Service Review
I recently got this dude Alex from TaskRabbit to help me out with bringing my brother home from the hospital. Alex was super awesome, he really made sure my bro was safe and comfy the whole time. He helped him in and out of the car, walked him to the door, and kept us updated on everything. Alex was always quick to reply, super polite, and never late, which made everything go smoothly. I was seriously impressed by how professional and dedicated he was to giving us top-notch service. I'd totally hire TaskRabbit again for any other jobs in the future.
Furniture assembly
I just hired someone off TaskRabbit to put together some furniture for me and let me tell you, I am so pleased with the job he did. Brandan E. was fantastic! He put together five pieces of furniture, showed up right on time, worked really well, and even cleaned up once he was done. He even noticed a few little problems with two pieces and made sure to let me know. His attention to detail and professionalism really impressed me. I would totally suggest him to anyone who needs help with furniture assembly.
Furniture assembly and carpentry help
Luis R was such a gem to bring on board for putting together my furniture and taking care of my carpentry jobs. He knew his stuff, got the job done well, and didn't waste any time doing it. Move out cleaning job
I've had pretty good experiences with this service in the past, but I ran into a problem recently with a move-out cleaning job that got cancelled. Even though I had already cancelled the job, the cleaner still showed up at my old place. The folks at the building called me to let me know she was there, but I couldn't reach out to her since the job had been cancelled. It was just really awkward and annoying to deal with. I couldn't help but wonder why the cleaner had the address for a job that was cancelled, and why she didn't know it was no longer needed.

Eh, TaskRabbit is amazing, eh? I was struggling to find someone trustworthy to lend a hand with things around my place. But then I stumbled upon TaskRabbit and boom, problem solved! I could scope out pics and background info on all the potential hires, which was pretty sweet. And get this - they actually arrived on time and did a stellar job! It was like having a real-life superhero swoop in and save the day, eh?

Booking a Tasker was actually pretty easy and quick. I found a Tasker who was professional and got the job done on time. TaskRabbit lets you choose a Tasker that fits your budget and has the skills you need. But I was kinda bummed that the promo code only applied to the Tasker's hourly rate and not the service fee from TaskRabbit. It would be nice to know that upfront next time.
Organizing office
Eh, Roxanne really came through for me, eh. My office was a disaster, like for real messy, eh. Running my tree care business is a ton of work and I was falling behind on everything. Roxanne came in and got all my books, bills, and art supplies sorted out. Now things are running so much smoother and more efficiently, eh. She's a total lifesaver, for sure!
Quick furniture assembly
The Tasker, John, showed up on time and was really friendly and knew his stuff. But I took off a star since one of the chairs wasn't screwed in properly and was left like that. The table wasn't perfectly aligned, but it's not a big deal. I think a final check would have made everything just right.
Appointment cancellation issue
I had this really frustrating situation with a service platform where my task got canceled out of nowhere, leaving the Tasker waiting at my place to do the job. Even after trying to reschedule, I couldn't get it done. It took like an hour and a half of going back and forth with the Tasker, me, and the platform's support team to sort things out. It was such a waste of time for everyone involved and totally unnecessary.
Handyman services
I found TaskRabbit really handy when I needed a handyman. It was my first time using it to hire someone on short notice, but I couldn't get same-day service. The person I hired wasn't as ready as I hoped and showed up way later than expected. He was nice, but his tardiness and lack of preparedness let me down. I might give TaskRabbit another go down the line, but I'd probably choose a different person next time.
Schedule task on my phone
I really like using TaskRabbit! It was so simple to set up, and the person who helped me was really nice, eh? They made me feel totally safe in my house. Plus, I didn't get any of those annoying spam messages like you do from other companies. Yay for that!
Furniture Assembly
I had to put together some furniture and needed a new part. Mark figured out what I needed right away, found it online, and put it in quickly. It only took about an hour and Mark's quick and efficient work really impressed me.
Quick and efficient task completion
Kristina finished the job super fast and did it really well, but then the smoke detector that she swapped the battery for started beeping not long after she took off. I had to call someone else to come by and fix it, which was a bit of a hassle.
