Parking with protection plan
Parking with protection plan
ComplaintsI parked my car at Neighbor with a protection plan, and when I came back, my brand new car had scratches all over it. Neighbor wouldn't cover the damages and gave me lame excuses. It's the sketchiest business move I've ever seen. Don't bother trusting Neighbor with your stuff or your cash!
Car towed from Neighbor parking
Car towed from Neighbor parking
ComplaintsMan, I'm so pissed off! I parked my car in a Neighbor parking spot and it got towed! Like, seriously? I've used Neighbor before to store my car when I go on trips, and it was all good. But this time, I came back and my car was nowhere to be found. I tried calling the host, no answer. So, I called Neighbor Customer Service and the lady was nice but couldn't really help except reach out to the host. The cops confirmed my car had been towed and I had to fork out a ton of cash to get it back. Can you believe Neighbor won't even cover the towing fees? Like, come on! I shelled out to store my car and they're washing their hands of it. Total rip-off!

ComplaintsYou know what, the service at this place can be a bit inconsistent, depending on who you're dealing with. But seriously, can we talk about the spam emails? It's like they assume I want to be flooded with junk mail just because I visited their website. And let's not even start on those fake 5-star reviews all over their site.
About Neighbor
Neighbor is a peer-to-peer storage marketplace that connects individuals looking for affordable storage options with hosts willing to rent out their unused space, such as garages, basements, sheds, or parking spots. Founded in 2017 in the United States by Joseph Woodbury, Colton Gardner, and Preston Alder, the company aims to make storage more accessible and less expensive than traditional self-storage facilities while providing a platform for hosts to earn extra income from their underutilized space. Neighbor's business model emphasizes community trust and safety, facilitating secure transactions and interactions between hosts and renters.
