ReliabilityEh, so here's the deal, folks. I really like the app, it's super easy to use and all that. And you know, being able to actually use my phone in Canada is great. But man, the signal is just so frustrating. It's definitely weaker than my old phone service. With my old one, I could actually use my phone at work, now it's like no service at all, what's up with that? So yeah, I'm not sure if I should stick around.
Long-term customer
Long-term customer
ReliabilityI've been a customer for over four years now and I've mostly had a good experience with the service. The price is great for what you get and the connection is usually reliable. But lately, I've been noticing some spots in my house in Colorado Springs where I can't get a signal. It's been annoying because my phone hasn't changed, so I'm starting to think it might be a carrier signal problem.
Cell service plan
Cell service plan
ReliabilityI just got a new cell phone plan, which I'm mostly happy with in terms of price. I don't use my phone a lot, mainly for calling cabs or using ride-sharing services. But I ran into a problem when I tried to call a cab after about three weeks with the plan. Instead of the usual signal bars, an SOS message came up and the call wouldn't go through. I tried a bunch of times, but each time I had to trek back up three flights of stairs to my apartment to make the call work. Finally, I managed to get through by turning off the Wi-Fi on my phone, but the problem came back when I tried making the call from the lobby where I normally call without issues. It only worked properly when I went outside the building. As a senior with sore knees, it was really frustrating having to go up and down 98 steps just to make a simple call.
Unreliable service
Unreliable service
ReliabilityThe price is awesome, and I love that I can buy in bulk for convenience. But the service has been up and down for me. I usually have good coverage, but there are times when I get no service or just E speed for data, which is annoying because I can't do much on my phone. It's super frustrating not having data at home, so I have to depend on Wi-Fi and I still have trouble getting texts. The worst part is I can't seem to figure out the voicemail, so I worry about missing important calls when I'm at home with no service.
