I was on the fence before I signed up — got an email saying my annual sub would end and that they changed the payment system, so I should re-enter card details. I checked my Clip Studio account to remove the card and it showed none, only a prompt to add a new one, so I didn’t. Fast forward a month and they still charged me for the year, even though no card was attached. Support wouldn’t refund. So yeah, awkward and frustrating, but at least now I double-check every notice and I’d recommend using a single-use card or watching your bank closely.

I couldn’t remove my card from my profile and the old trial license stayed on, so I could still get charged. Asked for a refund and they said no.

company tricks you into trying it out and then forces you to pay subscription fees later you didn't know about or want. once you see the charge, it is too late and they will not refund even if you try to cancel immediately and never wanted it.

So, I went ahead and got myself a yearly subscription for this art software, thinking I could use it for my digital art projects. But guess what? But get this – a month later, they still managed to take the payment for the yearly subscription from my account, even though there was no card on file. When I contacted customer support, they straight up refused to give me a refund. I was steamed, feeling completely tricked by this whole situation. Just a heads up to all of you out there, be careful when you're making purchases on this platform.
