    My recent experience ordering from the Canadian Hat Store was a letdown. The hat I got was dirty underneath and had shoddy stitching, which was not what I was hoping for after shelling out extra for a good quality item. When I tried to swap it online, they only offered me a refund minus the return shipping charge, which didn't seem right considering the state of the hat. So, I shot an email to their customer service team to voice my frustrations. Their quick response stated that the hat was not considered defective. They asked me to send it back for a "specialist" to check, but warned that if it wasn't found defective, I'd still have to pay for the return shipping. This rigid return policy and lack of handling my concerns properly left me feeling annoyed and unappreciated as a customer. For what I paid, I expected a perfect product and the chance to switch it if it wasn't up to snuff. This whole ordeal made me feel like just another faceless customer, rather than a valued one.
