    Trial period

A warning for anyone thinking about signing up. I have been misled into spending £250 for things I didn't want. The buttons on their site have a one click purchase function but this is not clearly stated. This caused me to accidentally spend £50. When I tried to get the refund, they suggested that they would resolve the issue and 'give' me a year's free membership. What they didn't say was that they would charge me a further £200! This money was taking out of my account immediately. I am now £250 down and am contacting them daily to try and resolve the issue. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Reading other reviews online I fear this may drag out for a long time. It's such a shame because the course I started was actually quite good. So I've gone from being an eager student to just trying to escape.

I also posted this review on trustpilot, and they replied with a lie. They are claiming I knowingly subscribed with the Ts&Cs readily available. This is not true. Someone subscribed me over the phone, after leading me to believe there was no cost. They have stolen my money, so I'm now going into battle to get it back

Did you get your money back? They are a proper scam and Depite a Guardian news article and trust pilot back in June 2020, I am surprised they are still up and running. Many new students are still enrolling unware for the 4 week trial. I wana fight my battle as well. I wonder if anything could be done as a collective so that they are exposed and can’t lure more students.Any ideas?

Zero star. 4 week free trial

Unfortunately with their aggressive marketing strategy they lure many students to take their 4 week free trial.

During the free trial they use many sly ways to get money off vulnerable students and use all sort of legalities of why they cannot refund the money.

Because advert sound legit and it seems straightforward to cancel before 4 weeks, many students enroll without reading reviews. But during the 4 weeks they are conned enough via various strategies so they end up paying unwillingly for 1 thing or another.

I was getting calls at least3 x a day everyday from them. Each time you turn a page on their website while logged in, a big pop up of selling products come up with a small almost invisible button.

I spoken to one as she said she was calling to see how I am getting on with my studies. The accent was difficult to understand and amidst that she was slyly selling products. Like’ let’s upgrade your package and you will benefit etc... No wonder many non native English speakers fall for this as they may not understand and shockingly find unexpected monies taken out of their account.

In the Uk we have regulated bodies so I hope something can be done. Unfortunately, this is not the case in other countries where people are more vulnerable. I hope this company shuts down soon.
