Unexpectedly fixed

Service

parts “not available,” replacement models “not available,” even though the mower was still on the website. I was ready to write off the warranty and the brand (this is actually the second Worx tool that gave up on me), so yeah, not thrilled. Then, surprise — after I pushed back and gave them some info (they reached out on July 26, 2025), they shipped me a brand new WG752. I did pay $9.95 shipping under the warranty, but honestly that felt fair considering how smoothly the delivery ended up going. The new unit has some nice improvements, although the bail switch feels unchanged — small quirk, just be gentle when you shut it off (don’t let the bail snap back). Overall I’m pleasantly surprised by the service and the quick delivery; turned a frustrating start into a solid result.

Time to move on

Product

solid enough for small jobs, felt like a smart buy. Fast forward and problems crept in. My cordless drill chewed through some pine but managed to snap four bits in short order — pine, not hardwood, so that was surprising. The weed wacker's handle just won't lock, so I end up holding it the whole time, which is annoying. The pressure washer was missing its wheel handle at first, but credit where it's due, they sent a replacement right away. Used it a couple times last summer and once this year — now the trigger fitting leaks more than the actual nozzle, so I had wet shoes, not a clean driveway. All in all, not terrible, but not dependable enough for me anymore.

Almost got a mower, almost

Service

ordered on the weekend, showed up Tuesday morning, right on time. But then the fiddly bit — trying to fit the lower handle — took ages because the captive nut just wouldn't line up with the hole on the body. After a couple hours I gave up and emailed for an exchange within a few hours of delivery. They arranged a pickup through Karen, which was good, that part worked. Then radio silence until I chased them up and got an impersonal note saying a refund was being processed. Fine, refund hit my account in a few days, so no drama there, I’m glad about that. Still, annoying that I wasn’t offered a replacement, and now the sale is gone so buying the same unit again would cost a lot more. I like some of their other tools, so I’m a bit disappointed — mixed feelings, really.

Almost there — good delivery, wonky fit

Delivery

I noticed the gutters were overflowing after a weekend of rain and, not wanting to climb a ladder in the pouring stuff, I ordered the WORX Gutterpro kit to use with my WG 543E motor head. Ordering was painless — the site was straightforward and my parcel arrived in about 48 hours, which is getting rare these days. I’ve had packages take a week or more from other places, so that quick turnaround was a pleasant surprise. The box was intact, nothing crushed, and the bits were taped up neatly enough, though nothing fancy about the packaging — that’s fine by me.

Quiet but unreliable

Product

I'd advise against this model. When I first saw the WORX Landroid Vision WR206E at my neighbour's garage sale and later got a tip from a coworker, I liked the compact look and the app felt modern. That said, from month one it was a mess. The main issue is a recurring camera error that stops the mower dead — no remote restart, the app shows nothing, and it just sits. It also often can't find its base, so I end up walking out to drag it back, which defeats the whole point. In thick grass it stalls or tangles, and I've had to clear it manually more than a few times. I tried everything: cleaning, re-doing the boundary wire, resets, firmware updates, forum fixes — same result. There was one surprising thing: when it did run it was quieter than I expected and cut clean edges, so that part impressed me. Still, the reliability isn't there. I bought it in June 2024, and now I'm three weeks away and it's stuck in the middle of the lawn with that camera fault again. For the price, this level of downtime is unacceptable.
