Productthe merch stall wasn’t hard to find and the souvenir bag was a decent buy. Later I realised it didn’t shout “75th anniversary” — just a plain Tattoo bag — a bit underwhelming. The real story was the rain. It poured. My plastic poncho looked fine in the bag but in use it collected water in the rolled sleeves and funneled it down to my feet. I ended up soaked through to the skin and left at the interval. That said, the performers pushed on in awful conditions and honestly they earned my respect. Skeptical at first, I left with mixed but overall respectful feelings.
