DeliveryMy mom picked up a really awesome LEGO set for me at this store called Toys R Us, and I was super pumped to start building it. But then she mentioned they tacked on a $25 fee for delivery, even though she spent over $200! When we checked online, we found out they actually provide free same day delivery for purchases over $50! We rang the store to see about cancelling the order, and they made it really difficult for us! They claimed we requested expedited delivery, which we didn't, and refused to give back the extra charge. They only said they'd waive it if my mom went back to the store. Such a hassle and totally unfair!

DeliveryI recently bought some toys from this company and I was really disappointed with the service I got. The delivery was messed up because they left my package in the lobby of my building and it got stolen. When I tried to contact customer service, it was hard to understand them because their voice was so quiet. It's frustrating to wait 3 to 5 days for them to fix this issue, especially when it wasn't my fault. Also, the shipping took longer than I thought and there was no tracking info on the website, which made it tough to see where my order was. Overall, it was a really bad experience and now I'm not sure if I want to order from them again in the future.
About Toys R Us
Toys R Us is a multinational retail company specializing in toys and children's products. Founded in 1948 by Charles Lazarus in Washington, D.C., the company initially began as a baby-furniture retailer before shifting focus towards toys, leading to the establishment of the first dedicated Toys R Us store in 1957. Known for its wide array of toys, games, and other products suited for children, Toys R Us became a dominant force in the retail industry, symbolized by its iconic mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe. Despite facing financial challenges and declaring bankruptcy in the United States in 2017, Toys R Us continued to operate in Canada and other regions, maintaining its presence as a leading toy store chain. It has since made efforts to restructure and revitalize its brand, reopening stores in various locations.
