I bought two e-gift vouchers a few weeks ago — the website felt fine at checkout so I wasn’t worried. First impression was good, until the recipients never got anything because I’d accidentally used .co.uk instead of .com. I tried to fix it myself, then reached out to support. For almost three weeks I kept chasing emails and calls; every time they said it was escalated and then silence. The moment I was actually satisfied was when a supervisor finally emailed, fixed the domain and resent both vouchers — they even included a short apology note, which was a nice surprise. Still annoyed about having to chase and the initial refusal to put me through to a manager, but relieved it ended up working in the end.

the policy exists, sure, but the team handled it with actual common sense. Makes me feel better about buying there in future, despite my earlier hesitation. Small win, feels human.
