not worth the price. I bought a pair of Persol sunnies through Sunglass Hut and I wouldn’t do it again based on this run. To be fair, when they arrived a few days before I started wearing them they looked and felt premium — good weight, clean finish — so my first impression was positive. Then a light gust knocked them off my face within a week and the frame split where the temple meets the rim. Lenses were fine, the break was purely structural. I contacted customer support several times, filed the requested complaint, and all I got back was a note saying this wasn’t a “quality issue” and that they could only move forward with the protection plan (which I’d bought). No explanation why a small fall isn’t quality-related, no real engagement, no apology — just a canned response and an email sign-off. That felt dismissive. The protection plan offer was the only concrete outcome, which is something, but it doesn’t address why the frame failed so easily on a minor drop. Bottom line: product performs okay when intact, but durability here is suspect and the support interaction left me underwhelmed. If you care most about after-sale handling and longevity, I’d look elsewhere. If you just want the look and are OK gambling on repairs, that’s a different call.
