I was halfway to a coffee shop when my phone snagged and I realised the pocket of my new coat had a full-on hole. The coat actually felt nice — soft lining, decent weight — so I assumed a manufacturing fluke. Brought it back to the store within a couple of weeks, explained what happened, and then things got awkward. Staff basically told me I’d damaged it myself, which felt accusatory and, honestly, a bit absurd. I was flustered, they were blunt, return denied, and I left thinking “well that escalated quickly.” I tried the formal complaint route and kept getting radio silence. I eventually filed a claim and the court got involved because nobody at the company would engage. It’s been frustrating and tiring, but I still like how the coat wears when it’s intact. Just be prepared — if anything goes wrong, you might need patience and paperwork. From previous buys I’ve had better service elsewhere, so this was a real letdown emotionally and practically.

I got an email on Dec. 22 saying the refund was processed, then another saying it failed because of wrong bank details. I triple-checked with my bank (they confirmed my account info was fine), and the return was confirmed at their warehouse, so that part was smooth. What surprised me was how clear the tracking/status emails were — that helped keep me calm while I went back and forth with support. Customer service has been slow and a tad unhelpful so far, but I’m hopeful they’ll sort it (and I’ve already told my sister to hang on — the item itself is great).

the material and fit were decent, which made the mess even more frustrating — I wanted to keep it but needed a smaller size. In the end I'm left filing a formal complaint with consumer protection and warning others. If you care about returns, steer clear or be prepared to chase them for ages.
