I've been reading this one news source for over ten years now, but I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with how their search function is turning out. At first, it was super handy for me to find what I was looking for real quick. But as time passed, it just started acting up more and more, getting all unreliable and annoying to use. They say they use Boolean searches, but honestly, that's not what I'm seeing. Like, I tried looking up someone with the initials "A.B.C. Jones" and the whole search just froze up on me. And when I search for something like "Smith & Jones," I get a bunch of results with the words in the right order but not together, so it's a real challenge to find what I'm after. This inefficiency is not only wasting my time, but it's also making me feel like my subscription isn't worth as much as I thought it was. I've been a loyal customer for so long, I was expecting better performance and user-friendliness from this service. It really bums me out to see it going downhill like this.

This online newspaper archive service I tried was definitely the top choice out of the three I tested. The website had lots of content and easy-to-use search functions, making it simple to find what I was looking for in the archives. But the downside was I couldn't narrow down my searches to get exact results, which caused some mix-ups between similar terms like "THE SUPREMES" and "THE SUPREME COURT." Plus, I was bummed out to find out that the feature to save articles for later was no longer an option. To top it off, the customer service was pretty much non-existent, leaving me feeling unsatisfied with their lack of help and support.

The search experience when trying to subscribe to this newspaper was not great at all. At first, the keyword searches gave me some helpful info, but that didn't last long. Every first result for my searches was totally unrelated to what I was looking for. Then, I got bombarded with supposedly relevant results, but they were all locked up and I needed to pay more to see them. This trick is sneaky and dishonest, making me feel really disappointed as a customer. It's frustrating to see a company that should be focused on giving reliable and easy-to-access information resorting to these shady tactics.

The website's design is just awful, eh? Like, that "Show More Results" button is so useless, eh? Why do I gotta keep mashing it just to see what else is out there, you know? And don't even get me started on the date range feature - total disaster, bud. Makes searching a pain in the butt, eh? Seems like nobody's checking for quality or running things properly over there.

I just bought a newspaper subscription online and honestly, it's been a total letdown. The website is so slow and annoying to use. I tried reaching out to customer support about some problems I had, but haven't heard back at all. It's frustrating that I can't even exclude certain words from my searches, which makes it really hard to find what I'm looking for. I'm definitely not renewing my subscription at this rate.
