MEC - Reviews and experiences

I ordered something online to pick up in store and it was a total disaster with their customer service. I paid for it online, went to the store, and they didn't even have it ready. I waited for over an hour and finally decided to cancel my order. MEC said they would give me my money back, but it's been almost a year and I still haven't seen it. I've tried contacting them many times, but no luck reaching anyone. I'm really disappointed in how they're handling things. I've given up on the $50 and won't be shopping there again.

I was told in an email that my refund would be quick, but it's been weeks and I still haven't gotten my money back. The customer service keeps giving me excuses about processing delays. It's really frustrating and seems all over the place. I wish I could rate them a zero for being so slow and unclear.

I recently bought some outdoor gear from this company and honestly, it wasn't the best experience. I had to wait forever to hear back from customer service and they kept giving me mixed messages about how to return it. It was so annoying to be told that I'd have to wait ages for a refund. The return process at this store is just awful, eh! It's so slow and takes forever, which is totally not okay in this day and age, you know? When you try to return something, it's like it disappears into thin air with the post office, and then the store doesn't even acknowledge it until they feel like it. It can take weeks, maybe even months, it's just crazy, don't you think?
