Soft, until the wire pokes through
Soft, until the wire pokes through
Productthese Maidenform bras are among the comfiest I own, and as someone with sensitive skin they don’t itch, which I really appreciate. I wear them to work and on busy days running errands, and they usually feel fine. That said, a recurring problem has started to show up — the underwire is popping out on several new pieces after only a few wears. Sometimes it pushes through at the front, sometimes near the side seam under the arm. It’s uncomfortable and annoying. I’d be happier if the brand reinforced the stitching or the channel for the wire. For now I’m glad they’re soft and fit well, but I’ll hesitate before buying again.
Drawer full, mixed feelings
Drawer full, mixed feelings
ProductI was folding my drawer last weekend and laughed — I've actually got a rainbow of Maidenform Everyday Modern Demi, no joke. I started wearing this style years ago; first time it felt like it actually fit my shape, comfy underwire, nothing digging in, so I kept buying. The moment I knew I was sold was on a crazy long day; halfway through I forgot I had it on, and that's rare. It's not perfect though — over the last couple of years a few underwires split or slowly started to poke out, and I've tossed more than a handful. I wash on delicate, separately, hang dry, buy from Kohl's or their site. Still, mostly worth it.

your order shipped. Wait, what? I was confused. How do you cancel something and then ship it? After poking around the emails I realized I had two different order numbers for basically the same purchase. I hadn’t created an account, because I usually avoid adding more logins, so I couldn’t log in to check what was going on. That annoyed me — and made me pause before buying in the future.
What made the whole thing clunky was the lack of contact options. I’m an email/chat person, not a phone-on-hold person, and their site basically forces you to call. Even the links to check or cancel an order led to a 404 page. Not great. Still, I decided to wait for the package and, if needed, return it. When the bras arrived they were fine — fit was good, quality okay — so I sent them back since the story felt messy. I got a “we’ve completed your return” note saying refunds might take up to 10 business days, but I never received the final confirmation with the refunded total. Two days passed. Then more waiting. Finally I called and, surprise, the refund processed instantly once I spoke to someone.
So — pros: product itself was decent and the return/refund worked once I pushed. Cons: confusing order emails, poor site tools, and no easy non-phone support. My advice: if you’re picky about support, be ready to call; if you just want the product, it’ll probably be fine. Overall, I’m happy enough but not without reservations.
Packaging overkill and one bad pair
Packaging overkill and one bad pair
Productthe underwear themselves were mostly acceptable, but the packaging and one bad pair mean I won't be buying again. I ordered seven pairs. Each came in its own oversized plastic bag, plus everything was stuffed into a massive shipping bag, and each pair even had a plastic hanger. It's just excessive. Six of the seven feel fine — not plush, but reasonable for the price. One pair, though, was stiff and scratchy. Oddly I bought three of that style and only one was like that, so quality control seems inconsistent. Worse was the smell. The whole lot had a chemical odor that gave me a sore throat and nausea after I opened the box. I returned the items. If they could cut the single-use plastic and check fabrics for that off smell, I'd try them again. For now I won't recommend them. Short, factual note to others: check return policy and open packages outside if you can.
