Serviceshowed up on time, cheerful delivery folks who even carried it up the stairs—nice touch. Customer service eventually agreed to swap the machine but it took ages, months of phone calls and emails, which wore me down. The replacement came and, annoyingly, the same problem returned after the warranty ran out. I’m thankful the delivery team was polite and the initial tech tried to help, but overall pretty disappointed — lost a few decent sweaters and I won’t be rushing back to this brand.

ProductI unboxed this side-by-side in May and at first I was impressed — it's whisper-quiet for everyday use. The hum is low and you barely notice it, which I liked right away. Then, once or twice a week, or whenever the power blips, the compressor fires and it bangs. Two, sometimes four sharp bangs that make you jump. It's odd because the whole point advertised was 'quiet'. I called the manufacturer and they told the distributor it's normal. That felt dismissive. Still, the interior layout is handy and everything stays cold; the shelves are solid and the door seals work. Compared to a cheap old unit I had, this is nicer. So I'm relieved it performs, but I'm annoyed about the noise and the response.

Productracks developing rust spots so fast I couldn't believe it, and the door gaskets turned into a sticky mess. Cleaning wasn't great either, even with decent detergent and our whole-house filter system (so not the water). I called the retailer; they weren't brilliant but arranged a tech visit and a partial refund, which helped. Not outright ruined, but bothersome. If you care about longevity, this one didn't live up to the hype for me. Would tell others to be cautious—maybe wait for better reviews or stick with brands you've had before.

Deliverythis was a frustrating mess and I wouldn’t recommend relying on their delivery if you need the job done properly. I needed a new side-by-side fridge because our old unit died right before a move and we had a house full of food and a kid on meds that need refrigeration, so timing mattered. First delivery brought the fridge on its side in the van and then into the house; they scraped my bifold door in the process and left a noticeable mark. Inside the new unit the fridge compartment had blistering on the lining and the freezer was clearly damaged, so I had to wait for a replacement. On the day the replacement arrived the courier refused to leave it unless they could take the old one back at the same time, then said they couldn’t take it unless it had been unplugged for six hours. Nobody from LG told me about that requirement—just generic “delivery due” texts from the courier—so no heads up, no chance to prepare. Result: no replacement, old broken fridge still in my kitchen, and I’d already taken two days off work for this. I’ve contacted LG and all they offered was to rebook, no apology and no offer to cover the extra day I lost. I’m tired of going back and forth. I want an urgent priority re-delivery, refund of the delivery/collection fee, some goodwill for the extra day I had to lose, and a proper fix for the damage to my door.

the unit looks smart in the room, and it does a passable job on some lighter items. Not dramatic, though — I didn’t suddenly have crisply refreshed suits or anything. So my original doubt about value kind of stuck.
What really derailed the whole thing was everything after the sale. Right away I asked for a return after one day. I followed up over the phone after three days, then kept chasing by phone and email. It ended up taking weeks to even get a pickup scheduled. Communication was almost non-existent; I had to initiate every step. One customer service agent was actually helpful and apologetic (that was unexpected and I remember them), but that felt like a single positive in a long chain of missed commitments.
Delivery was another mess. The delivery crew left a noticeable scrape on the floor during the first drop-off. Later, when a different crew came to pick up the unit, they pointed out how the damage could have been avoided — so that was frustrating because it meant the original damage was preventable. Then the inspection/claims process was full of no-shows and windows that never happened. I took time off work more than once for appointments that didn’t materialize. That part was exhausting.
On the product side, again: it’s okay for casual use and the finish is nicer than I expected, but it doesn’t justify the hassle I had to go through. Refund processing moved slowly, and while I did eventually get a tentative timeline from support, I wouldn’t call it fast or reliable. Compared to other appliance companies I’ve dealt with, this was below average — others handled returns and damage claims much more smoothly.
Would I buy from them again? Not with the current delivery and support setup. If they fixed the communication and delivery partners, the product might be worth a try for some people, but for me the headache wasn’t worth it.
