Quick heads-up about my shirts

Product

I’m putting new orders on hold for now, but the returns team was awesome — so that’s something. I grabbed two white French‑cuff dress shirts online because my usual store hasn’t had my size for ages. When the box arrived I was honestly surprised — one shirt looked like it had been on display years ago: tiny pinholes, a tear and a mess of creases. The other had this weird puckering along the collar, the fabric just didn’t sit right. Took them to the local cleaner who said straight up they couldn’t fix the construction issues. Annoying, right? On the plus side, customer service processed a refund without a fight, which made the whole thing less painful. After 20 years buying here I’m a bit bummed they’re also moving toward a “universal” sizing scheme and phasing out certain sleeve lengths — that’s pushed me to think about other stores where I can try stuff on. If you’re loyal like me, my advice: check things in‑person when you can, or be ready to return. Still got a soft spot for some of their pieces, but I’ll be more cautious next time.

Patchwork hat purchase

Product

I saw this really nice hat on their website, but when it arrived, it was just a plain black hat. They tried to blame me for the mix-up and didn't want to make it right. I won't be shopping there anymore!

Grey jacket

Product

The stuff they sell at this store is so disappointing. I got a grey jacket back in September, and within a month, it was starting to get all pilled up and had loose threads. And it's not just the jacket - every single thing I've bought in the last 5 years falls apart super quick. Shirt cuffs unravel, buttons pop off, and socks get holes after just a few wears. It's really sad to see how the quality has gone downhill compared to how the store used to be. I used to be a regular customer when it was nearby, but now I wouldn't bother going out of my way to shop there again.

Sweater purchases

Product

So, in the winter of 2017, I decided to update my wardrobe and ended up buying 23 sweaters from this place. I went to the store to try a few on and ended up buying two different sizes because their sizes were all over the place. Then I ordered 5 more online and they came in no time. Impressed by the quality and selection, I ordered 7 more and got them quickly too. In the spring of 2018, I ordered 2 more lighter sweaters and they arrived fast as well. The only hiccup was a button falling off after the second wash, but other than that, the stuff has held up great. Overall, I'm happy with my buys and would totally shop there again.
