Original New wash
Original New wash
ProductI've been using the Original New wash for about a year now and I have to say, I'm really impressed. At first, I wasn't sure about the lack of lather, but I got used to it over time. I found that by adding a bit of water to my scalp while massaging, I could get silky, smooth, and tangle-free hair in just one wash. Now I don't have to bother with washing my hair twice. The delivery has been great, since I'm on a subscription plan. Considering that I now wash my hair less often and don't need conditioner anymore, I think the price is fair. As a real customer in my mid-60s with thick hair, I can confidently say that I'm happy and satisfied. Even my hairdresser is impressed with the results!
Product left my hair oily and limp
Product left my hair oily and limp
ProductI put in a lot of effort to make this product work, but after 2 months, my hair looks terrible compared to when I just used water to wash it. I don't mind spending a lot if it works, but now my hair is greasy and flat right after I wash it. I won't be purchasing this again.
Untamed hair products
Untamed hair products
ProductI can't believe how much I wasted on those hair products! The shampoo was terrible - my hair ended up looking dull and greasy, never been in worse shape. And the aftercare stuff was disappointing too, felt like an expensive version of something you'd find at a regular drugstore.
Shampoo/Conditioner combo
Shampoo/Conditioner combo
ProductSo I tried out this new shampoo and conditioner combo and let me tell you, it's amazing! My hair feels so good now, and not a single tangle in sight after it dries naturally. It's like I've been transported to the future with these sleek locks, kind of like in The Hunger Games. Switching from my old shampoo was a breeze, and I've even noticed I can go longer between washes now, giving me more time to relax in the shower. I recently got highlights and needed something that would keep the color looking fresh, and Hairstory really came through. Every time I wash my hair, it feels soft and healthy, and the scalp scrubbing feature is a nice bonus. Although, I have to say, the dry shampoo powder smells a bit too much like baby powder for my taste, and the wax product didn't really impress me, especially when I was on the go. Maybe I just need to figure out how to use it properly.
Rich New Wash
Rich New Wash
ProductI recently bought and tried the Rich New Wash at Hairstory and honestly, I was so disappointed with how it turned out. I used two packets over a couple of months and my fine colored hair ended up getting more brittle and the ends looked all broken. On top of that, my scalp got all flaky and itchy, which was just the worst. I had read some good reviews, even one from someone I trust like India Knight, but the product just didn't work for me. When I checked the ingredients, I got worried about all the alcohol stuff in there that can mess up hair. Basically, this purchase was a waste of money and now my hair looks terrible.
Stylist-recommended hair care
Stylist-recommended hair care
ProductMy hairdresser suggested this hair product to me, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I did some digging, and then I went ahead and purchased it. I made sure to follow the instructions to a tee. My hair isn't too oily or dry, just regular. The steps were pretty straightforward - I just had to rinse and brush a few times. Gotta admit, my hair feels amazing now and it stays clean for much longer. I checked out the prices of other fancy shampoos and conditioners, and turns out this product is way more budget-friendly.
Curly hair care routine
Curly hair care routine
ProductMy hair stylist recommended a new hair product for me to try, even though I was unsure due to the high price and flashy ads. But let me tell you, it has seriously changed the game for my hair! I have curly, dry hair, and with just three products my hair has never looked and felt this good. New Wash Rich and Hair Balm have really made a difference in how my hair looks and feels. I only need to use New Wash once a week, plus a little oil from another brand. New Wash has helped soothe my irritated scalp and improved the overall health of my hair. After a month of using these products, my scalp is less itchy and those problem spots have gotten so much better. My hair could use a bit more moisture in some areas, but Hair Balm has been great at controlling frizz without making my hair oily. It can clump a bit, but with careful application, I can prevent any dandruff-like look. Overall, this hair routine is the simplest and most effective one I've ever tried.
Transitioning to sulfate and silicone free hair care products
Transitioning to sulfate and silicone free hair care products
ProductI decided to switch things up with my hair care routine by ditching the regular shampoo and trying out sulfate and silicone-free products. After some digging, I found a product with great reviews and decided to give it a shot. Now, three weeks later, I'm really regretting it. My hair is super dry, looks like straw, and is breaking off like crazy. Instead of making my hair healthier, this product actually caused a lot of damage that I now have to fix with extra products. It might work for some people, but it was a big fail for me.
Rich New Wash
Rich New Wash
ProductI went to the salon the other day and had such a good time with two stylists who both said my hair felt super soft and silky after using the Rich New Wash for around four months. It's crazy how it got rid of my frizz and made my hair feel way healthier. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I'm definitely gonna keep using this product.
Long-term New Wash user
Long-term New Wash user
ProductI've been using the regular New Wash for my long, hennaed hair with medium texture for over a year now, and let me tell you, it has made a huge difference. My hair used to be a tangled disaster that not even the best conditioners could solve. Now, the only problem is that I sometimes forget to "new wash" my hair every few days to maintain its fantastic look. The silicone scalp massage brush they provide is incredible and really helps with the washing routine.
New Wash and Dress Up product
New Wash and Dress Up product
ProductI just picked up the New Wash and Dress Up products from this store and let me tell you, I am seriously impressed with how good they are. The New Wash has done wonders for my hair, and the Dress Up product gives great heat protection and styling benefits. But man, the prices are a bit high, which might turn some people off.
Rich, game changer for dry hair
Rich, game changer for dry hair
ProductRich has totally stepped up my hair and scalp routine! Especially in the winter when my skin gets all dry and yucky, Rich comes to the rescue. It really helps my color-treated hair stay vibrant for much longer than regular drugstore shampoo. I mean, who wouldn't want to go longer between washes, right? I still use regular shampoo occasionally since my scalp is super sensitive, but Rich is my go-to for every other wash. And let me tell you, my hair has never felt so soft! It's like having magic in a bottle.
