I ended up ordering the Faster 4 from overseas because no shop in Tokyo had my size and I needed something for daily commuting. The shoes felt stiff at first, but broke in after a couple rides and now they're comfy and supportive. Shipping had sparse updates and a 2200 JPY customs charge, but overall I'm happy and relieved I found them.

I had the helmet on the kitchen bench and the Cardo just refused to wake. I’d first spotted Chromeburner on a MotoGP forum and a mate had tipped me about them, so I shot an email explaining the battery wouldn’t hold charge. Daniel Kaiser answered quickly. Short, clear, fixed in one message — they said they’d send a replacement. I asked nicely if it could arrive in about two weeks since I was heading down to Phillip Island for the MotoGP. To my surprise it landed at the door in five days, sent all the way from Germany to Australia, which felt a bit unreal. The headset worked perfectly and made the whole 5500 kilometres easier. If I’m honest, their paperwork and tracking were thin, and I had to ask a couple of questions, but that didn’t matter much. Polite, efficient service — I’ll use Chromeburner again.
