I first saw the site because a friend sent the link — I clicked through over lunch, pretty skeptical from the start. The calendar wouldn't let me set my birthdate so I couldn't get past checkout, but the charge still went through (yeah, awkward). I backed out in minutes and emailed support asking for a refund. They kept replying with the same line about following a seven-step process on their site — which I told them I wasn't going to bother with because the site itself was clearly broken. After a few back-and-forths (and me nagging), someone finally explained the issue, apologized, and issued the refund. It took longer than it should, but in the end the money came back and they didn't fight it. I told the friend who tipped me — they were annoyed — and while I'm still wary, the outcome leaves me grudgingly satisfied and willing to try again, cautiously.

I had a frustrating time trying to buy something on a website. I tried twice, but both times the payment didn't go through on their end.
