I bought a bike pump from Competitive Cyclist not too long ago and man, was I bummed when it showed up broken! Dealing with the return and shelling out for the shipping charges on my end was quite the headache. It certainly wasn't the smooth sailing I was hoping for, especially with those pricey international fees in the mix.

I bought some cycling stuff as a gift, but the sizes were all wrong. I reached out to customer service through their chat on a Friday night and was happy with how fast they got back to me. The person I chatted with knew their stuff and fixed my problem right away, even giving me a return label for free. I'm thankful for the quick and easy return process.

The return policy at this store is just brutal. They slap on a $6.99 relabeling fee when you bring something back and then only give you half of what you paid for it. They hide this crucial info in some teeny tiny writing on a massive contract that's tucked away while they're promising you a full refund on their site. It's sneaky and sucks for us shoppers. If I'd known this, I never would've bought anything from there.
